2 questions on the 501...

Have a manual and an auto 510 from Cignot. Am only about 3 weeks into this thing (so keep that in mind if one of my questions seems stupid), but LOVE it.
2 things. Does anyone know of any coupons I can use for Cignot accessory orders? And I apparently dont have any cartomizers. My carts are the plastic pieces with the cotton-like material in them. Where would I find real cartomizers for the 510?
Lastly, I think my atomizers need cleaning, but am a little confused. Everything I have read says to just drop the atomizers into mouthwash or boiling water, etc., but am wondering if folks have a different type atomizer than I do? Seems that submerging them in liquid would damage them.

As far as I know, the 510 only uses those plastic cartridges and atomizers together (it's a 3 piece model). A cartomizer is for a two-piece model PV (I'm not sure which ones are two piece) and is like a cartridge and atomizer combined.

So, what you want is to order extra atomizers and empty or prefilled cartridges. You fill empty cartridges with e-juice, and most prime the atty with a couple drops of e-juice on the bridge.

Hope that clears some stuff up... I'm even more of a newbie than you, so don't quote me on anything. ;D

Sorry can't help with the coupon code but I can answer the 510 questions.
510's don't come with cartomizers they come with cartridges. To use a cartomizer with them you would need an adapter. Cartomizers are used on KR808s
My preference for cleaning the atomizer is to just blow in the end that connects to the battery (make sure to have a paper towel or something to catch the stuff that comes out), then rinse with water, stand on end overnight to dry out. You can boil them but I just prefer not to.

Thanks for the replies. Its actually the first time that I have gotten folks to reply, so much appreesh....Ordered an 808 adapter and some 808 carts for the 510, as I was told that the 808 carts held much more. Also have a 902, but just doesnt seem to have neither the flavor or the vape clouds that the 510 brings, so its my backup. Wish that I could get a juicebox, but they seem to have put production on hold for now.

I think Freakoffhisleash got a 510, not an 808. Without an adapter the 808 cartos will not fit.

Freak: the 510 rocks, and is the perfect PV for adding your own juices to the carts. They should sell empty carts that you can fill yourself. When the filler material loses its magic, you might want to look into one of the easy cart mods, like using blue foam instead of the stock poly filler. Lots of easy mods in the Joye 510 forum that anyone can do, and they will make the 510 a whole lot better. And most battery mods use the 510 atty, so that end can be improved too.

I agree with the others, to clean, Crest Health-pro mouthwash for about 10 minutes, then lots of hot water flushing and blowing through will get most gunk out. Try first before that, though, blowing it out through the batt end. If your juice is thick, or a tobacco flavor, or dark, it can clog up the atty. Water is ok as long as you dry it out before using it. Some use alcohol to soak it in, but that can dissolve the glue holding the components together. But if the attys are clogging a lot, you need to figure out why that is, as it will run them too hot.

But enjoy it! Right out of the box it kicks butt...and I mean literally!

I have only cleaned two of mine once. Blow them out first. I put them in a deep plastic bowl with enough HOT HOT (but NOT boiling) water and swirled them around for a minute, dumped the water out, and repeated. Blow the excess water out and stand on end (big opening at the bottom) for about an hour. Then I put them on top of my register vent overnight and let them dry out completely that way. They both worked fine after cleaning. Mostly, I just blow them out now. I have one I am using a maple flavor in and it is very thick stuff, so I'll probably do a hot water cleaning on it shortly.
