Default DSE901 & clones - what's the difference?

Hope somebody can help me here...

I need to order more parts, but how do I know if they will be interchangable?

The one I have is the DSE901 from TrueVapor (who I'm very happy with but he's out of stock). I know there's other ones called 901, but the atomizer/cart end is different. Is this a 901b or an RN4075. Also, are the batteries all the same? Who carries what?

Thanks,

TC

Truevapor is NathanS on here isn't it? If so he has made a point of stressing that it is the DSE901 he is stocking and not the RN4075.

No they are not exactly the same - but they are interchangeable. DSE901's are a tiny bit shorter, and in the ones I have anyway, have an electronic switch.

I don't know for sure who carries what. I believe the main UK suppliers sell the RN4075. I think that Puresmoker in the US also has that model.

Thanks, Papa -

That's a start, but I would still like someone to explain the differences between a 901, a 901b, and an RN4075.

Somebody? Anybody?

The 901B is just a black 901. Parts between the DSE 901s and the RN4075s (that is actually called a 901/Mini on Puresmoker) are fully interchangeable.

Thanks, Yvilla

I couldn't figure out what the 'b' meant, but that makes sense. Some things I read on the forum made it seem like there's a difference, and I wanted to make sure before I buy spare parts.

Thanks again

Good question Tin Cup--the key difference between the two is that the RN4075 burns hotter. This has its positives and negatives. It vapes better, but at a higher heat, it cooks the e-liquid faster and also abates some of the e-liquid's flavor.--Hope that helps--Sun

Yes, it helps a lot. I understand what you mean, because I can tell the difference between a freshly charged battery and when it's running down. The RN must be like a 901 on steroids. Cool! (or maybe HOT?).

Anyway, I feel much better about ordering spare parts now. I'm learning very fast that you need PLENTY of spares on hand.

Thanks again -

TC
