"Unlike nickel and lead-based batteries, a new lithium-ion pack does not need cycling through charging and discharging. Priming will make little difference because the maximum capacity of lithium-ion is available right from the beginning." Read more here: batteryuniversity dot com

The 2 bats that came with my 901 work great. The extra I bought works like crap; after the last charge it immediately flashed like it was dead. This happened, of course, right after the 14 day warranty was expired.

so i am guessing that the original question on the 12 hour charge is fiction? and a 4 hourish initial charge would be good?

I have always been WAY too impatient with every e-cig I buy to wait 12 hours. I usually charge the first battery for about 3-4 hours, and the rest for 12. I have yet to ever notice a difference in any of my initial 12 hour charges and my 3 hour charges. Just my personal experience. I say vape away!!

    YAY!

This was what i was planning on doing. I just got my first e-cig today in the mail at 4pm. Was going to wait till about 8:30 (another hour) so that the 1st battery would be charging for 4 hours then pop in the second battery and let it charge over night =D

Im excited! One hour away from my first vaping
