Default Just a Heads Up for those that do not know

Just a heads up for those NEW MEMBERS that do not know--the LED on a battery that will not hold a charge will light as it draws very little power to fire the LED, but if the battery will not hold its charge and is fried--it does not have enough power to fire the atomizer. If the LED does not light at all, there may be hope in some instances as it may be the pressure switch is stuck in the off position as e-liquid has frozen the switch---interesting to note for those Members who do not know as we are in the New Members Section-Wonder if people were born knowing that--I think not--Sun

One of my batteries was doing that. I blew through it from the LED end a few times, cleaned the connector threads really well, charged again and now it's fine. I have a cordless phone that does the same thing. About every 2 weeks I have to clean the connectors. HTH.

So, if the LED lights when you pull air in, then the battery is ok?

How do you know the difference between a clogged atomizer and a fried battery?

How do you clean the threads? (I'm gonna go run and get mine and try it after wiping the threads with an alcohol wipe)
How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people.

Monkey--That maybe an indication that the pressure switch is or is not frozen. To see what is going on you have to trial and error out parts and you can clean the treads with any type of cloth. I is good to keep them clean as they can foul your charger up which is not so easy to clean inside--Hope that helps--Sun

Cleaning all my contact threads I used a paper towel, alcohol and my fingernail around the outside and a q-tip and alcohol around the inside. It hadn't really looked dirty, but with the black crud I got on the towel I then decided to clean everything else. I used the eraser end of a pencil and then blew out in the charger. Then I cleaned all the threads with the alcohol and q-tip on the atomizers as well and then flushed them with hot water.
