    Default New Intro, Old Stalker

Well after many many days of reading the forum and educating myself I finally decided to join.
I am actually an ex smoker, free for about a year and a half, not really by choice but by five different preg tests showing the plus sign ( i have a 13 y/o and was not expecting to be expecting!! OOPS!!) So I had to quit cold. I miss it so but will NEVER go back. Then I discovered the e-cig and am hoping it satisfies my small needs. Ya know, its just not the same having a few drinks without a smoke, or sitting in the hot tub without that relaxing hit. It was one of my major pleasures in life. So after much research, most from this forum (Thank You all!!) I purchased my first e-cig last nite; a 901. Seems like it is perfect for the beginner, so why not? I was actually looking for the hybrid but everytime I tried to order it is out of stock. The longer battery life is what I need as I do 12 hr shifts on an ambulance and the hybrid seems to fill that need. Maybe later down the line.
But anyway, I have to thank all for the great info here! I have really learned so much and cant wait for my order to arrive!!!
Will let you know how it goes!

    Hi, Gypsierose!

I think you'll like the 901. It really is a sturdy little beast.

If you're spending a great deal of time in a car, you ought to check out the USB passthrough. It's basically a device that allows you to operate your e-cig using power supplied through a USB connection. Of course, the obvious use is for your computer, but you can buy an inexpensive adaptor that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter, and that then allows you to plug any device with a USB into the adaptor. Pretty nifty . . . and you don't have to worry about your batteries running down.

    Welcome to e-smoking.

Welcome Gypsierose! I purchased a standard ecig case, and it does the job. I don't carry much with me, just my case (enough to fit 2 batteries, an atomizer and two carts) and a small bottle of liquid (about 3.7ml). Then I bought two ecigs and the case is too small. It seems a lot of people modify their own cases, using camera bags, ipod or mp3 cases, etc. Search the site for a few of the mods people have posted, that will give you an idea of what others are doing. I think most actually just carry theirs in their pocket.
