Carrying cases
Hi all. I just got my first e-cig - a Janty Dura starter set which so far I'm loving. At the moment I'm using an old cigarette box with a few bits of paper for padding to carry around a couple of batteries and atomisers and three carts. I plan to start using fluid to refill the carts as soon as the postman delivers.
My n00b question: what do people use to carry around all this stuff? I've seen the Janty recharger case, but that's a bit more than I want to spend right now.

I actually use a portable hard drive case from Target to lug all my gear around.
It's only about 6"x4". One side is a net pocket, where I keep a small ziplock of cartridges and a few 15ml bottles of various juices.
On the other side, there's an elastic strap that is meant to hold the hard drive in place. While it's a bit too deep to hold the thin e-cigs in, by themselves, I normally care around a few tissues and a hankerchief for refilling jobs, along with a set of tweezers.
With those clothes and tissues underneath, the strap will hold the e-cig down firmly. You can always fashion a few pieces of modeling foam into a custom bedding, that would fit nicely, as well.
When I want to have something smaller, I use one of the smaller cigarette-style cases I picked up on ebay for about $5. This merely holds 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, and a cartridge or two.

I use a USB case I got from Wal-Mart for less than $5.00.

I am now always on the lookout for a cheap-o manicure or men's shaving kit like this though...
Amazon.com: 11 Piece Men's Travel Manicure/Shave Set with Mach 3 Razor in Black Leather Case: Health & Personal Care
Up to now, still unwilling to spend that much money on that kit when all I really want is the case. Now, everytime I'm at walgreens or target or whatever, I hunt down the manicure aisle hoping to find what I'm looking for...
Hope that helps

That sounds useful. Whatever I settle on, I want to avoid having things rattle around inside and break. Thanks for the tip.

It does, thanks
Can't believe I didn't think of a cheap manicure set case already. The elastic loops for holding all the bits and pieces sound like just the ticket.

I agree... I love the manicure set idea. I have one that I'm going to have to try out when I get off work. Thanks for the idea!

Since I wear glasses, I always have a few extra glasses cases floating around. I just took some foam and cut out space for my M401, extra battery, atomizers and space for a 10ml bottle of juice. Works like a champ.

Let us know how it works out... Have yet to find one that is inexpensive enough to warrant buying it and not knowing how I like it
