Dry skin??? in The E-Cigarette; I have noticed lately that my face seems really really dry. I believe that I read somewhere that PG dehydrates? ...

Propylene glycol attracts moisture so on dry surfaces like skin it is said to draw moisture from the air and hydrate. In moist places like your mouth it lines the mucous membrane, draws moisture away and dehydrates. Drinking water washes the pg off the mucus membrane and allows normal high moisture levels to return.
Putting some pg on dry skin should reduce crustyness ... in theory

Kate thanks for the reply and I got a real giggle out of the thought of me getting out of the shower and having to rub an esmoke cartridge on my face to keep from having my face dried out by esmoking.....I have gotten myself into another unending circle. Thanks for the giggle.

I would think more water never hurts.

I was having dry skin when I started vaping. I wonder if it can increase dryness in low humidity areas?
Regardless I started running the humidifier last week when I had a cold and my skin is awesome now. For some reason I remember to run one when I'm sick but never remember to run it for dry skin.

My skin is not dry, but my lips are so chapped that they are almost cracked.

QueenInNC,
Switch Over or Add VG to Your Mix! You will get softer, moisturized lips as you vape!
Keep Vapin!

is it just me or isnt the VG that goes on ur skin the one thats bad for you... you actually need the food grade one...internal not external use VG, if im not mistaken.
