battery dead - freaking out
I got my 901 on Monday, I love this thing, today I pulled one of the batteries off the charger like normal, after charging for about 2 or 3 hours it was green. When I put it on the atty, nothing, no light or anything. I plugged it back in the charger, charger light didnt change. Placed it back on the atty and all it does is blink a green light 5 times when I press the button. It wont do anything if its not connected to the atty.
If anyone has any suggestions please help! I have plenty of juice, but cant afford a new battery until a week or week and a half, then wait for shipping. Please help!

Thats what it does when the battery is dead. do you have another chanrger or another battery to try? try cleaning the contact of the atty and the battery to make sure there was good contact.
try leaving the battery on the charger for like 15 min after you clean it to see if it works at all.

Check the battery for juice on the threads and clean it.
Maybe it just packed it in and in that case may I recommend a usb passthrough. I don't know what I'd do without mine.

thanks, will try that, my other battery works fine with same charger/atty..just this one battery
Just would really suck to have only one battery.

One possibility is the center pole of the batt is stuck. Try to LIGHTLY pry up on the center pole with needle or something similar. I have had this happen on a couple of kr8 batts.

when you say center pole do you mean the flat brass positive in the end? mine is a sealed manual.

well nevermind, it must have been short circuited.. not cool, pressed the button after cleaning, and it started getting REALLY hot, at which point about 30 seconds later I couldnt even touch the case, and then it started hissing.
Lesson? Cheap chinese wiring + metal casing that can carry a current = disaster waiting to happen?
Dont get me wrong, I love my e-cig, but as soon as I have some money, I think I will be building a mod, much safer in my opinion.

I just did a mod for under $6.

Icicle: what'd you use for the battery to atty connection?
