New here, kind of new to e-cigs
Hello,
I am kinda of new smoker to ecigs, and I am enjoying being smoke free! I have been trying to find a recipe to make my own juice from home, with out having to purchase any one else's juice. Does anyone have any ideas? I am a single mother, and am trying to cut corners. Thus the reason I purchased an ecig. I wanted to save money, plus be around for my babies!
Any ideas would be great!
Thanks,
Sara

Making a juice is easy....it's adding the nicotine that's the problem. Most people have to buy the juice to get the nicotine. But if you look around here, you'll find plenty of ideas:

Wow! I am completely over whelmed. I can't seem to find the thread that has the recipe.

Well, you can start here:

Also, look for the lorann oils thread. That has a lot of info too.
Edit: Healthy, if you want 0mg nic, that's easy to make using a base of either PG or VG (glycerin), then adding flavorings. However, if you want nic, you would need to purchase some type of juice with nic then add other ingredients to it to "stretch it. For example...some people buy 36mg nic and cut it with half PG or VG to make 18mg. Then some add flavorings. You will really need to read around to get the idea.
And now there is flavorless liquid you can get in various mg strenghts then just cut it the way you want and add your own flavorings.

Lu - does this mean if I wanted no nicotine, I could purchase an empty bottle lets say the size of 5ml, fill it full of VG & add a few drops of flavor? And I have a good juice, that produces the vapor (my favorite part, makes me actually feel like I am smoking)

Sorry to be such a bother

I believe I read on here somewhere that PG does not produce as much vapor as VG does?

Basically, yes. BUT: VG is thick so you may have to add some distilled water (or something along those lines)....and, to be on the safe side, the flavorings should not contain sugar or oil, and coloring seems to be debatable.....that's up to you if you feel comfortable with it.
The first page of that link I gave you has a basic recipe. Others then add their experiments as it goes along. There's really too many variables to be able to explain all the possibilities. I know that thread is long but it will help. Maybe you can at least scan it. And the lorann oil thread also has a lot of info on what others have tried.
And here's a quick video on mixing too:

And the lorann thread:

Good luck!
