Another nice trick I found for a good hit on my 901b is to hold your finger over the hole in the atomizer when you first drag ie "choke" it. (my first day with the e cig as well) Found this way it hits like a mack truck for me. Got some 'Marlboro' with this purch from Heaven Gifts, and am not impressed with the flavor at all so far, I will be experimenting with those as well, as I really dont want a cig flavor anyway. The other thing I think people will notice is the 'something's missing' feeling. Amazingly enough your body will not only crave the nic, but it will also crave all the crap that came with it. I believe this will pass, and its not a 'must have' thing for me, but I am noticing I am vaping quite a bit more than I smoked.

Thanks for this post. My partner and I are anxiously awaiting our e-cigs to arrive and I'm trying not to get too excited as I figured the experience would be vastly different from an analog. It's good insight! With all the videos out there, very few describe the actual feeling you get from vaping. You typically hear about throat hit and vape produced but little about it's comparison to actual smoking.
Thanks!
Now I'll have to re-think those "tobacco" flavored carts I ordered. If they had scotch flavored carts I'd be all over em!

Definately covering the hole gives a nice vape! Also, do try the different flavours! Like the poster, I was EXTREMELY dubious of the flavours and only ordered menthol and cheery as a whim, as well as a regular 'mild seven' tobacco flavour - was so impressed by the menthol and cherry that I haven't even bothered trying the regular tobacco flavour yet after 2 weeks of vaping!

With my Evo, covering the holes also leads to a stronger hit. I suspect the initial low air flow allows the coil to heat up more and the rush of air when you uncover helps move the trapped denser vapor quickly into your lungs.
Well, it sounds good, so I'm sticking with it.

I am new to this forum and not sure if I am doing this right.... but I have a question about Ecigs and why the distributor says that NJOY products are not intended for people taking medicine for depression? I can't find any reason for this anywhere! Does anyone know the answer? Thanks

It's to do with the way nicotine reacts with other compounds, it's psychoactive. Nicotine does something with dopamine receptors in your brain and the interaction with anti depressants changes the chemistry. Sorry I don't know technical details and can't recall anti depressants being discussed in this context here.
I take fluoxetine (Prozac) and use nicotine ... carefully. My mood has greatly improved since quitting smoking and starting vaping. I use a total of around 20 - 25mg of nicotine spread throughout the day.

Sage,
What kind of dog do you have in your avatar? Looks like a Rat Terrier.
