Unhappy I still haven't swtched completely over! Not enough Nicotine?

I have now purchased 2 DSE103's (Super Mini) and I have bought 400 cartridges of varying strengths and flavors. I have also bought some Johnson Creek eliquid (highest strength 24mg) and have a total of 4 atomizers. I have been trying to use this along with my wife for the past 4 or 5 months with no success. It always seems that they don't even suffice for a cigarette almost comparable to a Marlboro Ultra Super Light or less.

I have tried different atomizers and everything with no success. I have read through loads of pages from this site during the entire 5 months. My objective is to switch to this electronic cigarette for good but it is just not working. I keep craving a real cigarette.

I quit smoking for 24 hours, and then used the super mini, and low and behold "no buzz at all" only a slight (very very slight) tingle on my tongue and that is it. So then I waited an hour then smokes a marlboro red (my regular brand) and BAM, full buzz, tongue fully tingling, lips tingling, everything that should happen when you haven't smoked for 24 hours.

Obviously there is not enough nocotine in any of the high nic cartriges I bought and the same goes for the Johnson Creek eliquid.

Could this all have to do with the freebased nicotine in the regular ciagarettes? Could increasing the Ph of the eliquid increase the available freebased nicontine available like it does in real cigarettes?

I am not looking to quit smoking or even to drop to a Marlboro light (or the like). I am simply looking for a healthier alternative to tar while still having the benefits of smoking.

Did I just choose the wrong eliquid or something? Should I have gone with a better eliquid that from Johnson Creek? Or should I make my own?

Try burning hotter, get a hotter atomizer with better flow may help. I'm just guessing here.

I also saw some juice with rated 32, where most other sites didnt go above 20's......Headache power, that should do ya.

Johnson Creek said they have vegetable based (non-pg) juice and Normal PG (Crushed, dried, reconstituted cow bone marrow?) juice, they say some people dislike one or the other. I also think some people may actually have a reaction or tolerance to one type or the other (I bet they react to mashed cow bone marrow being smoked).
You could try both kinds, strong tobacco flavor from johnson creek.

I'm going to try the veggie juice.

P.S. I don't actually know whats in the PG juice, I just saw a "how its made" episode on gelatin

Try a different liquid with higher nicotine. I have heard great things about Totally Wicked. Johnson Creek, not so much. You must know too, that vaping is different from smoking and will take some time and effort to make the switch.

I really am hearing mixed things about johnson creek but they are ones who let you choose veggie oil over normal PG, except DIY juice.

I have to say, vaping for me does not TOTALLY cover all of smoking - there is somehting missing and I haven't totally replaced my smoking habit, but its getting there, I'm missing that "something" a little less every day.
I'm used to smoke 20+ a day, I'm down to 2-5 or so a day so thats something, I'm just taking it easy and not expecting a miracle.
    Good luck

As Queen suggested you might want to try Totally Wicked's juice before giving up...I'm not sure that you would even need the 36mg.....but would get that, and if too strong cut it down...This is the closest juice I have tried that resembles an analog "hit"...Good Luck! The wiz!

sadly.. JC seems to bve the only ones doing the fully VG instead of PG..

that said... you could very easily get some other brand that still uses PG.. (which by the way is not cow marrow.. it's the same chemical used for fog machines) and then dilute it using VG which is readily available at just about any health store.. so if you were to buy (say) 36mb marlboro flavored nicjuice.. then cut some VG into it.. you'd have a decent vapor..

sorry.. as an extra.. the super mini prolly wasn't good start for the beginner... i started with the dse901... and loved it until i found the penstyle.. lots of vapor.. you find the right flavor for it and it MAY help more.. i'm still smoking.. but i do find i prefer the vaping if for nothing but flavor..

and just for kicks.. you could try Camel Snus.. they really are pretty good for the nic hit to keep the analogs at bay for a while

Also, on some pages faq they were saying each puff is equal to about 1/2 a normal cig drags worth of nic absorption. Not sure if this is accurate but I makes sense to me, real cig smoke is so strong and dense.
