Abbreviations

Hello new members!

You've probably noticed that the world of e-cigarettes is dominated by a bewildering array of abbreviations (not to mention products

).

To make your life a little easier browsing the forum, we've enabled a feature that automatically defines some of the more commonly used abbreviations.

Take ECF, PV or FDA as examples: You will notice that these have a dotted line underneath them - if you hover your mouse over them you should see a definition pop up.

This feature has been tested in Firefox and Internet Explorer (6+) only. If you are not seeing them for any reason, please post in this thread: Is this new, or am I just to lame to have noticed?

Just saw this, Joe! Thanks so much for this excellent feature. Indeed many of my abbreviations do now have this feature. Really great addition to ECF!

Well duh! I though the little underlines were telling me I spelled something wrong! I do that a lot!

Amazing feature! I clicked this link ready to memorize a bunch of acronyms, this is an awesome surprise hahah. The abbreviation pop-up text also works in Google Chrome. (The browser I'm using).

Thanks for clarifying that one. I was thinking that in time I would figure out the "buzz" words, now I can even understand! Great feature for the beginner.
