I watched 2001 a space odyssey today, and I don't know why I never made the connection before. Isn't it interesting how the Darwin looks somewhat like the black monolith? The monolith in the movie is an alien device that jump starts (or more accurately turbo charges) the evolution process. And it's called the Darwin from Evolv.

So, from this I have formulated two competing hypotheses, 1: Brad and the gang from Evolv are big Stanley Kubrick fans, or 2: Brad and the gang from Evolv are actually part of a benevolent alien race trying to help the human race move forward to better vaping.

    I'm leaning toward option 2.

I rarely fly, but tomorrow I'm heading out for the week and I was seriously torn as to which PV to bring with me. I thought about the SD since it's the most inexpensive to replace, even thought about the Infinity for much the same reasons (and I'd still have VV to keep me happy), but in the end I decided I don't want to be without my Darwin for a whole week! Not having to mess around with batts and a charger kinda helped that decision, too. And after all the posts about traveling with Darwins I feel pretty secure that I have nothing to worry about security-wise

I must say I did fret a bit when the trip was first scheduled, since I don't fly often and haven't since I started vaping, but not so much fretting now. I just wanted to say "thanks" to those who have eased my mind by sharing the painlessness of their travel experiences with PVs and the Darwin, in particular

I just got back from traveling abroad with my Darwin and Provari. TSA and customs didn't bat an eye.

Rest easy KJ and the darwin will be fine. Bring some eGo batts for the airport since whipping the Darwin out can draw attention you do not want. When in the hotel and rental car you will be happy that you have that Darwin!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Safe travels and happy vapes.

Rob: Even funnier Stanley Kubrick inside jokes? If you watch Clockwork Orange closely, the scene in the record store? Alex is standing near an album of the soundtrack to 2001: A Space Odessey.

All this and more Clockwork Orange trivia here, courtesy of John Coulthart.

I feel so much better after vaping a while, and I didn't think I felt bad before.

Ha Ha! I've noticed that! But I didn't notice this the first time I watched 2001...
