Igo update for fourm member "meeems" concerning the igo cartomizer and her favorite e-juice.

"i wish i was you, you are a great advocate of these things, but i have to say, i got this very heavy e juic, very dark in color from NHALER, called pralines and cream' and dont get me wrong, i want to wear this stuff, it smells pheoniminal, but its thick, and the IGO atty didnt like this juice, it refused to sink in, and the only way i could get it to sink in , was to wait and wait , and then it just stood on top, so i said' screw this and just let it fill to the top and put my pinky underneath, and it still stayed, just stayed on the top or went right thru. you can't make liquid stay in the middle on these attys. aint happening. there fore in conclusion, you are going to get an atty that either keeps ejuice on top, or it floods right thru, it doesnt stay in the middle...i'm always vaping juice in my throat or dry air, with a pungeunt of dry air...both are equally gross...sorry, but its true.

Now for the good news, NHALER doesnt make this ECIG, so lets not blame it on him....but on the other hand, I hope he doesnt continue to go into bully mode, for a product he never even made........ its from china, not from NHALER. And it has issues.... "

I ordered some of this e-juice from NHALER that she is having problems with in hopes of finding out why..
WOW! This stuff is thick.

I filled a new cartomizer and had no problems getting it to soak in, nor did it lay on top.
This liquid vaped fine for me although 12 mg isn't getting it done.

I then filled a used but cleaned cartomizer that I have used for 10 days.
I am not a "drop counter" but this time I counted the drops.
72 drops before I got the tell-tale drop out the bottom that says "hey I am full. stop it".

I got the same vapping experience with the used cartomizer as I do with a new cartomizer and my everyday e-liquid. Although this flavor and nicotine level is not for me, I had none of the problems that "MEEEMS" is having.

I am not disputing her problems. I am just trying to figure out why.
But if I can't duplicate the problem then I can't solve it.
The only thing I can figure is her cartomizer was close to full to begin with.
I would suggest trying a empty cartomizer.

No it probably wasnt the juice, not sure what the problem was. there were a few. battery never charged properly, was never sure if it was charged or not, no matter how i fiddled with the batteries, they were always red.

I cleaned the atomizer and tried again, but something wasnt working, had to puff for amost 7 seconds to get any sort of vapor.

I will be ordering Nhalers Pralines & Cream again, because I have yet to find a better flavor.

I bought a reo woodvil, and i'm really looking forward to getting the pralines and cream' and putting it on the woodvil,

My sister and her husband, however, are still loving their IGO, she did mention she had the same problem with her charger, but i think it still charges, it just doesnt show that it does. At least in her case, in my case, something is weak, battery, atomizer, not sure. but i cant use mine anymore.

HEHEHE. I'll probably grab a few more attys when i get the pralines and cream. might as well. hate to give up on this thing, the woodvil looks pretty dam funny when i'm driving or walking in public.

I'm having the exact same trouble with some of my thicker juices... Ms T's (no idea on the PG/VG ratio since it's super secret) and some 70/30% from other vendors as well. The thinner juices work like champs.

Is there a way to thin my juices down for the iGo that doesn't require another juice purchase?

I've heard that you can add a couple of drops of distilled water to thin out a particularly thick sauce (as opposed to juice) without a big impact on the flavor. Haven't had to try it even with the 100% pure VG Boba's Bounty which I was initially a litte concerned about.

It really depends on the viscosity of the liquid and not so much the percentage , as some vendors, (like the one mentioned above) use 100% VG but they add water to thin out the final product, so even 100% VG liquids can be thinner. I have some pretty thick liquids and as long as you wait for it to wick they should be fine. I also have dropped a couple drops directly into the battery end of the carto when I get imaptient but you really need to wipe the cart off afterwards so you dont gunk up the batts. These work best (as with most larger cartos) if you fill them up and let them sit for longer periods, so they are good and soaked.....

This lady has tried so hard to get into vaping and it just seems like everything goes wrong for her. And I mean everything! And still, she stays so nice and sweet and never complains or blames. She's a pretty rare person.

Ms. meeems, the best way I've found to fill cartos is with a needle and syringe. The only thing I don't use the syringe on is the duel-coils. Just take the needle off, fill the sringe, put the needle back on and fill your carto. Works fine every time and if you'll go around the carto as you fill you'll get good distribution of the liquid. Get the needle on tight or it will come off and you'll spray liquid all over the place and it will make you say bad words.

Some paper towels and needle nose pliers come in handy doing this.

As for your charger and batteries on the iGo, if you find your batteries are not charging give Drew a call or e-mail. He's like me, not too much in the pretty face department, but a good guy none-the-less. He'll bend over backwards to help you get going on this.

Please keep us posted on how all this works out for you and I want to say I find your nice attitude very refreshing.

Yeah, i dont have the money right now, but when i do, i'll have to get a few more atomizers and the pralines & cream which i love. I dont want to bother Drew, and i hate begging or at least it feels like that, so i'll wait and get the igo attys and Pralines & Cream when i get some money in my paypal again.

and yes i'll have to get a syringe too, thank god i'm using my moms address in Point Roberts, Washington now. no more long waits. yay.

I'm trying a drop or two of distilled water because 24 hours later this juice is not budging.

I've spun the juice out, added two drops of water and added it back in. I'll let it set for a while and try again....

It's my favorite juice so i really want it to work with the iGo.

I've also heard about adding some kind of liquor. Vodka? Any take on that vs water, Drew?
