Nicotine too high?
I have been vaping medium nicotine content. I received a bottle of e-juice today that was marked 11 mg nicotine. But it's making my head buzz and my heart feel like it's racing, like maybe alot higher nic than stated. Has anyone else had that happen?

Can you say "No quality control, no regulation, no batch testing of any kind?"
How do you KNOW what you inhaled?

I am experiencing the same thing except not my heart racing. I seem to get some headache pain around my sinuses. I felt as is I smoked a good amount and could handle that strength so I am surprised.

Well, that was a little blunt coming from another vaporer.
But, really with over 100 posts you should know more about the nic content and variance with different companies and batches.

The point is that if you do this at this time, you are acting on nothing but faith. I'm guilty. Every time I pick up an e-cig, I make an act of faith. But China has numerous instances of contaminated substances making it into consumers' hands. It is not impossible for a batch of e-liquid to have too much or too little nicotine added. Your 11mg liquid should not present problems for you. Yet it did.
Depending on the maker (and you have no idea where it was made, when it was made or what's in it) it might be way off the amount listed.
I have said many times that the present e-smoking situation is untenable. It is amazing that some governments have waited so long to demand facts about e-smoking. And we've seen the results where governments HAVE considered e-smoking: Not one has approved it as now practiced. Various states of ban exist in Australia, Canada, Mexico and many other countries.
Unfortunately, the practice virtually demands assurances of safety, something that cannot be left to Chinese manufacturers who exist outside regulatory scrutiny. Open your eyes wide, and you'll see where this is heading.

Well I've vaped 0, 11, 18, and 24mg nicotine with no problem. I smoked analogs with 11mg. This is the first time I know that this bottle marked 11mg was in fact alot more. It felt like if I drank 2 large cups of Starbucks extra strong.
Maybe I should just stick to USA made juice. Is there anyone that makes juice with USA ingredients other than Johnson Creek (which I like but would like variety as well)

I think it's very unfair to link Chinese manufacturers with bad practices. They're the only ones with any credible toxicology tests at the moment and nicotine levels in Wicked (from China) have been double checked.
It's not just the Chinese who are unregulated by authorities.

Thanks, Kate. This morning, I tried the same questionable juice and had the same thing happen, in fact right now.
My original question was did anyone else feel it happened to them? I just wanted to get an idea of how many times this might happen. I really wan't looking to point blame at anyone.

I would suggest that you put that bottle away for now. Possibly save it as evidence, along with the person you purchased it from.
Put it in a double-ziplock bag, and include a note that indicates it is "too high". Store in a cool dry place, and away from... any living organism.
Contact the seller, and ask him/her for the person they purchased it from. If they can't provide that info... indicate that you have no choice but to file a direct complaint as if the seller created the item.
Do not attempt to continue to use the juice. You have no idea what is inside. Thinning it out may just cause more problems, and still lead to an OD.
This has nothing to do with China. This is about obvious and direct proof of non-credible toxicology tests, and apparently proof that double-checking is not enough, or just a lie.
I don't see where any specific seller or manufacture was mentioned. Unless "E-Juice" is the manufacture. The problem is... It would cost us tons of money to sue "Wicked", the UK seller, selling Chinese items, from the USA. It is easier and cheaper for a US citizen to go after a US dealer.
However, at this rate... It won't be difficult to nail an over-seas seller, now that the FDA is involved.
If that were me... with the high-dose bottle... I would just thin it out, because I have all the chemicals to do it. However, buying a $15.00 bottle of PG, or a $3.00 bottle of VG is not the safer solution. (Nor is adding water.)
