Should have known that fear of what idiots may do and what other idiots would do to us because of it would shut this down. I personally find it disgusting that it is likely that if some twit killed themselves this way we would get the backlash rather than, oh, holding the individual accountable for their own actions...but that's a general issue of mine (when did personal responsibility die? was it stillborn?). I think I've found a source anyway for when I get around to it. BTW, MS in Analytical Chemistry, so, yes, I know how to handle this stuff. The same worries of backlash would likely keep any results from being postable, so I guess this is dead...

Why did I post here? A joke? Not at all. I had definitely ordered. I felt safe enough in my abilities to not kill myself. Unfortunately, I received this email this a.m.

Dear Linda xxx (last name omitted),

Thank you for your order. Unfortunately we are unable to provide the item(s)
you ordered. Your credit card has not been charged. The material is not available for the following reasons:
( x ) Product has been discontinued.

So, I won't be getting it from this company.

MrKrinkle, you crack me up. I think I also have a soft spot for your name though. When my hubby eats potato chips, he always calls himself Mr. Krinkle.

Just my 2 cents.
I took Chemical Engineering Technology in college and what posters have stated regarding safe handling is correct. You do not want to be mixing nicotine, USP outside of a lab environment. Its extremely hazardous where it is a trans dermal poison and a painful/needless way to die if someone is exposed to a lethal dose.
Most of us have kids and pets so I am perfectly content to let a supplier provide my juice rather than risk them getting exposed.
I even keep my ready to use e-liquid in camera bags that I put padlocks on to prevent any accidental exposure.

Who is RD?

Thanks!

It would have been in a lab with a hood, with a splash guard face mask, with a rubber apron and with rubber gloves.

But, I still have not found a supply yet and so this conversation is moot.

Thank you very much for considering my safety everyone.

RD is RuyanDirect (also known as Heavens Gifts) is a long time supplier and has a good reputation. His prices are very reasonable.

Shipping times are a little longer, coming from China, and customs issues are a possibility.

I don't think the thread should nessessarily go away,, it's important that we know what USP Nicotine is, and not to mess with it. I for one didn't know what it was until I read this.

We're all learning,,, and that's what sharing information is all about, isn't it?
