Maybe people aren't taking the time to read the links I posted, but here's a quote from the second one.

Quote:
Myth: Nicotine replacement products increase the risk of cancer and heart disease.

Truth

-- More than 20 years of studies have shown no increased risk of cancer or heart disease among therapeutic nicotine users.

-- More than 110 studies involving more than 35,000 participants have demonstrated the safety of therapeutic nicotine, even in populations with specific health conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, lung disease, and existing heart disease.

In addition, while the risk of cancer from smoking is well established, there is no clinical evidence that therapeutic nicotine products create a risk of cancer when used as directed. Therapeutic nicotine is not associated with any increase in the risk of heart attack, stroke or death.

-- Therapeutic nicotine is a safe and effective treatment approach even in people already diagnosed with angina or with history of heart attack.

Myths And Truths About Therapeutic Nicotine
In the contrary, I've read that NRT users are less likely to stay off the analogs in the long term, and indeed the best way to quit is going cold turkey. Such stark contrast in the figures they provided with one I read before, I'm throughly confused.

I like what I'm reading. I'm sure there are alot of positive effects, other than the results we experience as vapers.

Rock on!

Honestly, what doesn't cause something these days? Seems they can find cause\effect with just about anything. We are truly not safe to eat\drink\smoke, or just stand in the middle of the road. Geesh.

Yeah, but I guess we can look at that two ways. Since everything seems to cause something, why spend so much of life worrying about it all? Just live life to the fullest, Carpe Diem, that is what life should be about.

You are absolutely correct. Live life everyday as if it were your last. You just never know when it's your time to go.
