Motorcity, I know you're trying to be "cute" but are you are aware of nicotine suppositories? They are patented. No, I have no personal history to relate. Yes, you're welcome to try one.

No ... your reaction is about what is to be expected. If you used 24mg liquid, you were getting about 1/6th the nicotine you would get by puffing a cigarette an equal number of times. So you would need to suck vapor six times as often as inhaling a cigarette to become "normal". I can't imagine overdosing on e-smoking alone.

But, as you note, we're all different and maybe some bodies go bonkers after e-smoking. Mine just wants a snus or Stonewall. Nicotine addiction is not quelled, but habit is satisfied at seeing the vapor exhaled.

I suck 24-36 mg constantly all day on my 6 rivas and egos. When it gets in my mouth all the time, I enjoy the taste and then wipe it off only cause I'm supposed to, but that juice is everywhere, on my shirt, my sleeves, mouth, skin. I'm trying to OD but I just feel great! I haven't had an anxiety attack since I started vaping months ago. I guess that's the answer. If you feel way too good, you might be vaping too much.

This thread is entertaining lol. Bob basically said that Cigarettes were completely safe because the FDA approves of them. That is one of the most absurd comments i've ever heard haha. I actually LOL'd when I read his post haha.

Sure you could OD on nicotine, if you DRANK a 60ml bottle of 24mg juice, you'd probably die, or you'd puke and live in agony for a while. As for smoking, according to the good old professionals, you'd have to smoke 500 whole, full flavored ciggs, within 20 minutes to actually die. Which is physically impossible because you'd suffocate (or just pass out) long before you ever got that far.

Vaping can deliver more nicotine than cigs themselves, and people DO vape for longer, but as far as I can tell the worst side effects people have gotten from vaping are the following, in order of likelyhood:

    1. Headache, see #3, but can be caused by the nicotine itself, also caused by carto's that don't wick VG, attys that break, batteries that die, and other various technical issues in addition to the obvious.

    2. Sore throat, also see #3

    3. DEHYDRATION because you're exhaling moisture from your lungs and throat.

    4. Dizzyness. If you've ever smoked an analog after hours of not smoking, you know exactly the dizzyness I'm talking about. It's called a Nic buzz.

There ya go. I left out my favorite side effect of vaping, and that's bulimia of the wallet.

What is the source of this information?

The research consistently reports that there is significnatly less nicotine in each puff of vapor compared to a puff of smoke.

That being said, taking in too much nicotine tends to be self-correcting. Most folks stop vaping (or smoking, or eating, for that matter) when they start to feel nauseated or dizzy. And at that point, the dose is far below lethal.

What happens when we introduce maois into e liquid? Does nic OD then become a possibility? I see a few people are working on getting these maois into e juice. What happens when people add maois to their juice and then vape at 24mg like usual, but this time around the maois are preventing the body from breaking down the nicotine? Just wondering.

You simply adjust. Use less or lower the nicotine level. As a whole tobacco alkaloid liquid would likely be a good deal more satisfying for many, if not most people, it would very likely make doing to much nicotine less likely because many people now are over compensating for the lack of MAOI's by doing to much nicotine. Kind of like eating white bread as opposed to whole wheat. The whole wheat is more filling so you eat less.

Remember everyone, this thread was started by a "troll", who only stayed around long enough to post 4 or 5 anti vaping posts and then disappeared. Why don't we let this die.
