Vapor Pete: Senators don't know we exist -- and don't care. But young aides looking to advance in the office pool do surf the Internet for anything that might interest a politician, or could be used as political fodder. The anti groups likely have their own little Web surfers, too. Never assume what you write will not be seen, and used, by your enemies.

I would like to see a company that has the means to order and handle this (maybe someone here?) who can purchase large quantities of almost pure nic and cut it for us to legal/safe amounts. The reasoning would be mostly for users here wanting a cheaper bulk.

This is the final math. Please check it if I'm right. Normally a Gram = Ml There are 1000 micro grams in a gm That means that there are 1000mg of nicotine in a ml of what you are purchasing. There are roughly 33 drops in a ML that means that every drop has 33mg of nicotine. Now the ejuice I bought that was 36mg had 3.6% Nicotine so 1000ml of juice would have 36mg a big drop not a small drop!!. By my calculations to make 1000ml (1 liter) of 36mg juice you'd add one drop and if by accident you swallowed a drop that would be equal to ingesting 1000ml or 1 liter of the highest retail solution readily available on the market. You can ignore the dire warnings but do the math!!! That is way too strong to be casually playing around with. How much goes airborne. If you spill it and it gets on your skin would a drops worth be absorbed. By my calculation fractions of a drop would be lethal Even if my math is wrong by a decimal point it's still beyond dangerous. Please everyone check my math. |

Mg is a measurement of weight and mL is a measurement of volume. Nicotine in it's pure form is a liquid. So when you see 36mg juice, or any other mg denomination for that matter, one has to wonder 36 mg of what kind of nicotine? Is the nicotine part pure or is it a diluted solution? If not pure, then we must also ask if 36mg of pure nicotine in a juice would be safe. Also we must take into consideration, are we to believe China manufacturers actually put 36 mg in their juice? Is that really just nicotine in the nicotine portion or are there other processing chemicals included that we are inhaling? China does not have a favorable reputation for including components that it advertises on the labels... I think it's time for some HPLC testing... | |

I believe the measurement is along the lines of - mg in a gram. IE 36mg juice = one gram of juice contains 36 milligrams of nicotine or a 3.6% solution. The carrier (PG or VG) would have to weigh 1 gram/ml for the posers in here to be right. Do PG and/or VG weigh 1 gram/ml, or more? |
