You don't have to use 100 proof but go straight with VG.
Tropical Bob already tried this and succeeded A tobacco e-cig?

I've got a buddy that twice a year he flys down to japan and buys enough Asian p*@n to fill 2 metal overseas shipping containers. then ship it all back to the USA to sell here. If i can't find someone in my area already doing that then i'd do it my self

Never in a million years thought that there would be enough demand for tentacle pron to fill 2 shipping containers

Thanks again for the replies, I kind of figured people (including myself) would attempt to sidestep the ban using either already acquired sources or ones that are found by word of mouth here...like it's been mentioned before, you can still get pot seeds in the mail in the US. I won't describe how they are shipped, but I saw one of their containers in my other life. Very ingenious, as a matter of fact, one of the cleverest ideas I've seen...there's just no way for customs to know unless they recognize the shipper's address.

Nationwide ban is iffy...but probable. California ban is going to happen. We're so starved for tax money they're taxing something that's illegal under Federal law in NorCal. Not quite sure how that works...but they're doing it.

The posts about nicotine being less of a demanding master with the vaporizer is encouraging. I can sort of feel it myself even at this early point. Not really even "trying" to quit smoking, but I find myself butting a smoke because the vape tastes better. Cut my analog use down by 80% already and I don't feel the need to rip off puppy faces.

As far as a substitute, with the snuff and gum and patches and whatnot....I've not found one that works for me other than these PVs. Wish I would have found out about them earlier, so I'd have a chance to make some connections to use after the bad dream comes.

Just an idea, but I wonder if the reason that we are not obsessing about when we can vape like we did with smoking analogs is because we COULDN'T smoke analogs whenever we wanted and had to plan so much around when we could take a smoke "break" at work, making sure you had a smoke in your car just before work, finding a smoking lounge in an airport even when you know you might have to run to catch your flight so that you could smoke, having one before bed, after dinner, finding the designated smoking areas outside because of smoking bans, etc. So much PLANNING was involved in analogs. A lot of the planning is not necessary anymore because you can easily vape when needed most of the time.

Me either. That's why it's important to try all of them. Not one. Use all of them. Keep the largest variety you can on hand. When a craving hits, let your mind decide if a snus will work, or an Oliver Twist, a sniff or two of nasal snuff, a slow-dissolving Java Stonewall. There is no law that only ONE is allowed.

Staying off cigarettes is extremely difficult. Smoking was a pleasure for many for years. A quitter needs to replace that known pleasure with excited anticipation of future pleasures without inhaling smoke.

Trying one thing results in too many failed attempts to quit. All things increase chances of success.

Default forgot the nic one day and was fine

I had one day recently where I forgot to bring extra nic to work and no extra loaded carts. The cart in the cig was a no nic liquid and I was fine. granted, it was only a four hour shift with one break to smoke anyway but I got through it no problem. Just vaping for a little bit was enough for me. I just bought a whole 15ml bottle of no nic juice and am very happy to be cutting down the nic.

I loved smoking too. Come to think of it, so did my pops....and he was gone at 50. Gramps loved them...and he spent the last few years in bed trying to breathe. Big Tobacco ain't getting all three of us. Not now.

According to the response this member got from Canada Customs, Health Canada has decided the hardware will be allowed to be sold freely here if it's not intended to be used with nicotine or other drug:

Customs refusing shipment-

Hopefully that will be the case in the US as well *if* the ban happens.

When smoking I almost always picked one up because I felt like I HAD to have a smoke. Now I definitely feel like I vape when I want. I even forgot to order carts some weeks ago and ended up being out for a couple of days. I didn't go running to the store to get analogs, didn't gain ten pounds and didn't actually freak out at all. I was happy when they showed up though.

And how would they check that its not being used for nic? Sounds like a don't ask don't tell policy. Its nice when a country right next to the US decides to not be a nanny state. Word up, FDA! Take notes.
