You do have staying power TV. After you get a good eye wash from some potent american nasal snuff, you get your hands on some of the worst snus out there. It can't help but get better from here on out.

I started with the camel... stuff. To be honest I can't say it's terrible, though it didn't deliver enough for me to quit smoking. I've heard its better then the Marlboro snus which I've never had. The Swedes have got the goods.

With the Brutons I'm not surprised your not interested in your Marlboro snus. apparently all American Scotches have a high nic level. The 2 I've tried certainly do.

Holiday season and all may have an affect, but my orders from getsnus were always 2-3 days start to finish!

The only eason I posted the Marlboro thing was the pathetic numbers and statements made by the study. Looked like the typical FDA approved low level failure NRT things we get in the USA.

Like anything else, what works for 1 may not for another. Even though they list it as lower in nic than Camel, it may be good to go for MAOI's and thats what you need and get. Or might be it is less in nic, but your chemistry works with thier components.
I like the Camel Frost flavor, not so much the other one. I was hoping to try the Marlboro and thats why I looked it up. Seems its a trial in IL and Tx only. They already stopped 2 of the 4 flavors. For me, Camel Frost just runs pathetically low compared to Thunder Ice.

All in all it still comes down to the same thing. Just because it works for one person it may not for another, but you shouldn't toss them all off the list without trying them just because one failed. Your experience with Marlboro is a perfect example. Reading that report, I wouldnt have given it much hope except for your actual result after its comparison to Camel which for me and many isn't much, but better than nothing.

OTD, DVap was looking at a way for us commoners to get WTA from RYO in a simple method that left as little crap as possible. Using some solvent/s that are easy to get and not bad if all didnt come back out. Since we cant hope for WTA to hit the streets anytime soon, if we could get a fairly clean 50% recovery that didnt kill the atty or us it would surely be better than no WTA at all.

I'm puzzled that Marlboro worked for you, TV. I'm among those who got nothing, absolutely zero, from it. I tried the first batches. Tasty stuff but no nic. Also tested Camel in its first three flavors. I liked them, but too little nicotine. Loved SkoalDry Cinnamon -- and they killed it off.

Discreet also tastes good, but I'm wanting more nicotine. I tend to snus and e-smoke at the same time, however, so the two practices almost equal smoking alone.

I keep some strong (stark) Swedish snus in the refrigerator, but mostly use snus in the 6mg to 8mg range. This creates a mellow background, minus the overdose buzz that I don't enjoy.

General Thunder Frosted minis are a kick. Taboca is likewise a favorite. These kick! I tried Swedish Camel, both regular and white, before they were banned for export. Didn't like either. Lucky Strike, pre-import ban, was pretty good and could have become a regular for me. But it, too, bit the dust for export.

They joined Romeo y Julieta and Montecristo among the good stuff we Americans can't get. I hope it stops there.

They've got it in IN, too, but it's $2.30 for a sample of 6 minis. By what I've read here and looked up on line, the Swedish puts this to shame, both in quality and quantity. The gas stations are now selling bigger packages, but I haven't been interested in quantity or price. A side note, I tried the Camel Mellow (Blaaakk) , I've read the Frost isn't too bad, but lost interest in Camel at that point.

The last couple of days have been exceptionally good for me (snuff effect?), but today I feel foggy, anxious, distant, cranky . Yesterday I taught a 2 hour NH3 response refresher to local fire fighters. I'm always very uncomfortable in the instructors chair and prefer to stick to grunt work, but I was surprisingly on top of my game. It couldn't have been any better on my side of the fence or theirs. Today....CRASH . No reason. I just know that if I were to attempt a repeat today it would be a complete no-go. I feel for you, friend. Must be the weather. I thought if I hit the snuff a little harder (think Al Paccino in Scareface) my outlook would improve. Not yet and still waiting, but not holding my breath. Maybe tomorrow .

I don't know TBob. I never slowed on the PV with the Mboro so maybe I was sucking up some maoi's. I did like the flavor, though. The only Discreet I tried was the Full Flavor and found the taste so overpowering I couldn't keep it in for more than about 5 minutes. I've heard much good about the Thunder Frosted and have some on the way. I'm looking very forward to it's arrival..got the order tracking # today .

I'm in full agreement on "full flavor" Discreet. Dreadful stuff. Like licking an ashtray. Peach and Strawberry were surprisingly tasty.

I regularly go for General Mini Mint, Thunder Frosted Mini, Ettan white and Tabaco. I've got some Odin's on order in cinnamon flavor, which I should like from both a taste and nicotine standpoint.
