Hittin the N & J Black. Not bad at all. I'd put it in the keeper pile. Portions are a little firm to start. Good tobacco flavor, not over wealming.
Ok....if we are gonna try to extract snus at least we have some criteria.
1. High in nic material as possible
2. Non polar solvent that can be reduced or removed somehow.
3. Short soak time if possible unless the solvent doesnt grab the gunk.
My original test used Top RYO , very cheap tobacco , flavored cigars, very cheap ones and captain black pipe tobacco. The pipe was my best hope.
So..from what I found out we might get a useable flavor from snus, a bit higher nic than RYO, but still low and WTA in "I have no idea what quantity".
The reduction or removal of the solvent seems to be the biggest hang up IMHO.
Its gonna have to be able to be concentrated somehow. As I said earlier, I was amazed at how much it took to soak it and have any free liquid left.
Alot may depend on what you want from it. Flavor, nic , WTA, all?
If you have high nic stocked up you may just want the WTA or the WTA and flavor.
Never thought abt trying snuff. Its loaded with nic and does relieve cravings though.
I'd have to guess this is where DVap got stuck. What will get it out thats easily removed or reduceable for a rerun. It either has to come out or be vapeable.
After typing that last part.......it kinda looks like a "duh" statement.
If I remember right he was going for WTA. He was converting it out seperating it and converting it back. What he was using was the bad part as it all had to be gotten back out. It may not be something that the average person can obtain easily either.
Feel free to add, take away or beat me up now.

. It's possible a safe home WTA extraction won't exist, on the other hand, maybe all we need to do is pour ketchup over it and stick it in an apple press. What is perplexing is that we know snus works used as intended, how? Should I spit on a portion and vape it for WTA? Well, that's a gross thought
. I had brought up earlier the possiblity of enzymes, a stab in the dark at the most, but what if? Earlier today I got out some of the books I used for research and, though I originally was researching protein eating enzymes, I feel sure I came across info on enzymes in or created by saliva. Prominantly is for the conversion of carbohydrates, as exo said, but I can't get out of my head that I had read about others being involved for the pre-digestion process. Anyway, I only looked briefly due to lack of time, but I'll keep digging. Not sure the books I have are the ones I think I seen it in, but if it's a possiblity, there are many sources of enzymes available in powder and liquid form. Even then, what we're looking for may not be available or usable in a way that we would need....still kickin' the stones over, too....
