Yeah I can see it now, Secret Service get a hold of one and it starts some media torrent on CNN saying that China was attempting to poison him. I would love for the new president-elect to join our cause, however being realistic about the fact the Secret Service will never allow one to get near him through outside sources other than him ordering one himself.

Yes, please do get real. That's NOT a great idea.

Picture in your head, if you will, the President of the United States of America using a metal tube from China containing untested liquid, without ingredient lists or warnings or date and place of manufacture ... and on and on and on. You think that's likely if we just send him an "e-cig?"

    Political realities dictate otherwise.

    Anyone know about Sanjay Gupta?

The host of "House Call" on CNN has been approached by Obama to be the Surgeon General.

He's a neurosurgeon so maybe he knows about nicotine and the brain to where he would be willing to be for a cigarette replacement knowing that nicotine addicts are searching for something so they may as well have a safer alternative.

That's fantastic. I think he is a level headed, good guy... from what I have seen and I watch A LOT of CNN.

Thanks, I don't have cable so I know nothing about him other than what I read in the article. Most neurosurgeons I've heard about have been rational and level headed, that's what gave me hope besides he would understand nicotine addiction could be self-medicating for a dopamine imbalance.
