I am vaping this stuff right now. I want to reiterate how very calming it is. So calming I feel like going to take a nap!... okay, maybe that is counterproductive to concentration, next time I will leave out the valerian and just go with the PF.

I have been experimenting with vaping passionflower for the last week. I mixed one part 500mg/ml passionflower extract with 2 parts 60mg/ml nic and vaped away. Taste like crappola, actually it taste like tree bark. I have been thinking about adding a little menthol to it to take the edge off. Hard to get past the taste right now so the longest I have spent with it is about 2 hours. I did feel relaxed but it was also at the end of the day and I was drinking some relaxing tea with it so..... I found one source for passionflower alkaloids in freebase form and was thinking that might be the way to go to eliminate the off taste that the vg based tincture seems to have.

Hey, whim. Interesting stuff. You're in good company with kin and IANAN. I'm an avid follower, myself. My understanding of this is mild at best and these guys have worked overtime to bring it to my level. It does sound like you're following a good path. Keep posting and I'll keep reading .

I found one source for passionflower alkaloids in freebase form and was thinking that might be the way to go to eliminate the off taste that the vg based tincture seems to have.

btw: extraction of alkaloids from tobacco with ethanol is improved by adding at least some VG to the soak.

I'm interested in another source for alkaloids as not a big fan of tobacco taste (at least, not the cig stuff).

If you do a little research on harmine alkaloids you will understand why that "warning" is there. Think of the "warnings" that will be put on pg juice with 3.6% nicotine content used solely for the purpose of killing spiders on tomato plants post FDA ban. While the glowing under blacklight does sound a little strange, it is offered as proof of the purity of the product, which does indeed flourece under blacklight under highest purity.

Edit: I actually just noticed the in the link the title page of that product say's "all the caapi glow without the plant". lol, that keyword should help jump start your harmine research.

Thanks, gsa. That's what I suspected. Being so adamant about the purity and lack of nasties told me it must be usable in some concentration. Any idea what happens when heat from an atty is applied?

Alrighty, I love my current blend of coffee and menthol, plus two drops of concentrated PF extract. It seems just about right on the calm factor (cartomizer on 808).
