How'd the sweet potatoes do? I can't imagine they were as much of a mood lifter as say...cheese fries or a baked potato stuffed with cheese and bacon. Hmm..starting to see a theme to my happiness

i will have to look at that oat study.. even without the oats though ppl quitting opiates when they do that the last thing on their mind is a cig.. I quit ...... close to 11 yrs ago after using it for 4 years stopped smoking then too cigs made me vomit and tasted horrible when i quit ........
as far as the foods go to help with cravings.. it seems to be what each person considers comfort foods.. things that go back to childhood when you where not smoking also small items like fries that take a while to eat. big reason why a lot of ppl quitting eat sunflower seeds..

Anybody mention Stevia?
Stevia is a South American plant that's 300 times sweeter than sugar... it's commonly used as an "all natural", non-sugar sweetener... so anybody on a diet WHILE they quit smoking might want to check this out... and it's diabetic safe...
