Hey clue, odds are the buzz you're looking for won't be found in any level....that is if you're looking for that calm, relaxed feeling we got from smokes. I used to think that if the mg was high enough I could accomplish it, but, sadly, it's not the level. I used to vape what I called "weapons-grade" nic and the best I could do was feel a little satisfaction and sick. It's best to try out a few different strengths to see what stops the craving and leave it at that. If it's the "buzz" I'm thinking of, check out the Swedish snus in the smokeless sub-forum. It has what it takes .
I'll check in later when I find out where I am, provided I'm still where I left myself .

Darn.....yeah, that'd be the one. The nicotine in eliquid is stripped of its alkaloids that bring on that effect. DVap, a chemist on the forum, conducted some tests using eliquid he'd made that still contained those alkaloids. It was purified, but had the whole tobacco alkaloids intact and was dubbed WTA eliquid. The stuff did the trick, but it wasn't feasible for him to make more than the testing required. Unfortunately, no eliquid manufacturers seem interested in revamping processes, so we got what we got. Here's a post I made back in October that may sum up your expectations:

"Very unscientific, sure, but my own experience has convinced me that the ecig is only an alternative, like they say, not a replacement. I enjoy that I am now officially a non-smoker, but I do miss my analogs, sometimes. Over 30 years of smoking the nastiest, harshest tobacco out there and I enjoyed it all. Yes, I still got a "buzz" every morning with the first of the day and anytime I went a longer than normal period without. Ecigs don't provide that. Like my tobacco, it didn't take me long to locate and buy the highest strength nic (75mg) I could find to reproduce the same effect. I found out I could get myself feeling oogy, but that's as far as it went, no "buzz", the feeling of calm, brain stimulus, not even a good bowel movement. I've described to my wife (a lifetime non-smoker) it's kind of like being in a mental desert. Just kind of a constant mood instead of the rewarding uplift, satisfying focus I got after having a smoke. Yes, there's no doubt alot more at play here than just the nic, but atleast I can quench the craving. I just wish I could have a good bowel movement, Ha."

That was before we got things figured out. If this is you and you'd like to stay off the smokes and still enjoy life much like it was, Swedish snus is the poo. It's discrete, spit-less tobacco that comes in a little pillow you tuck between the cheek and gum and let the goodness soak in. It's not chew or dip and many studies have been done to prove no links to cancers or any of that other rot. What's nice is you can tuck a portion in and kick back to enjoy a nice relaxing vape session, much like a smoke. And you don't have to have a PV permanently attach to your face 24 hours a day. If you're interested, check out the Smokeless section, post some questions. No commitments, just a bunch of friendly folks the PV alone couldn't fix .
I'll check in later when I find out where I am, provided I'm still where I left myself .

Camel snus.... x 2!! That's usually the first one folks try. Some like the taste, but I couldn't get past 2 portions......!! And whatever nic it has doesn't do much of anything. Although it's made in the Swedish spirit, it's more of a piece of candy than a tobacco product. If you wanna see if the real stuff makes a difference, try this Introductory Offer - GetSnus.com. For $1 shipping they'll send a General sampler. In the sampler they'll include some General Mini Mints and even though they're around 4mg nic, they blow away Camel .

I find the higher the nic mg the better the throat hit. I vape 36 and have tried 24 but just wasn't the same.

I find that if I up the nic too high, it burns the heck out of my throat, mouth and nose...
