Exclamation Be Afraid...Be Very Very Afraid

I love vaping WAY more than I enjoyed smoking.

It's like a deam come true....nicotine hits with flavor, "smoke" and a real cig feel with no hacking tar or really nasty chemicals.

Problem is I now vape 24/7 when I used to smoke mabe 1/2 to a pack a day....so the nasty chemicals and tar is gone but I'm taking Nic hits more often on the e cig cause it's so convenient.

These things can turn you into a HARD CORE Nicotine addict.

Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, unless we learn that large amounts of Nicotine and the other stuff in the juice over MANY MANY years is a very bad thing

    Just saying....

Has anyone REALLY, HONESTLY used an e cig as a means to get off nic?

I'm not planning on giving up vaping.

Nor me. I like this way too much and I too vape more than I ever smoked. I don't know if the nic is bad for you, anymore than caffeine??? but I'm actually losing weight after quitting smoking because of the vaping. Too cool.

I can't say that I really vape more than I smoked but I do sometimes vape quite a bit. However I have been vaping at between 10 and 12 mg strength which is half of what I started out using, so I hope to continue to reduce my nicotine intake which you might want to try.

I really enjoy vaping so much but cutting down my nic level has not increased my usage.

I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

I now sit at my computer or in the car w/a USB passthrough and just vape constantly....before it was mabe one cig every hr or so.

Life is too short to worry about it but honestly I think these things are going to be hooking people hardcore on Nic.

    I'm buying Nicotine stocks tomorrow!

Yes there has been/are quite a few members here that went to zero nic or quit vaping as well....

The hard part here on this forum is, the ones that quit vaping entirely usually stop coming on to the forum...so the new members either never know that someone is gone or miss the good bye posts like this: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...iss-place.html

I personally don't know if I will quit vaping, but I do know I can regulate how often I do it.....

Switching to vaping is the first step, but the next one requires more thought and planning and the "want",like with anything, has to be there.

Sooo if you are not planning to quit vaping, but are concerned about being "hardcore" you can always work your way down to a low/no nic juice and then decide where you go from there.

Good job with the switch... whether it's a first step or the only step...

How is using an e cig more convenient than smoking? I don't remember cigarettes needing a charger or a battery or having to fill carts or having to get them on the internet, all I needed was a match.

Smoking made me a hardcore nicotine addict not vaping. The only thing I'm afraid of is the huge amount of miss information being spread around.

    Thumbs up

    More convenient? OH YEA BABY!

I keep 1 extra battery and one extra cartomizer with me and I'm good for the day.

    1) No more running out for packs, searching for a lighter.

    2) USB PassThrough on computer and in car just makes life worth living. Effortless.

    3) Takes mabe 5 min. MAX (labor time) to charge the 2 batts and refill the cartomizers every night.

    4) I can Vape ANYWHERE (almost)/ I can even sit at the bar and vape.

    MUCH MORE CONVENIENT.

Mabe it's the cartomizers and USB PassThrough that takes away alot of the hassle.

Oh Yea...NO ASHTRAYS to look for or empty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLUS the juice is cheap as dirt!
