So are we right to believe that one to two drops of medium liquid = one medium cigarette?

We don't know for sure but that's probably a good guide.

I've not seen any *science* that shows harm in 1 cig per day.
As an addict of course my gut reaction is, don't bother with them if you aren't compelled, you never know what could happen.
For many years i could just have a cigarette here and there without being addicted.
usually only when i was out drinking..
my wife coudnt believe how i could do that..
then out of nowhere i started smoking a pack a day..then 1 1/2...
i dont have an addictive personality because i only drink on weekends and never had any other drug addictions etc,,
nicotine somehow can all of a sudden take over..
just my 2 cents..
id try zero nicotine if i wasnt addicted,, and zero nicotine is my goal over time..

I love that there are people out there who can do these things with moderation. I think some might be a little green that we do not have same self control. I am a social and emergency smoker. Well I was for analogs. Now analogs are not even a thought or a crave. I turn to my e-cig. If I am stressed, I use low nic. I did use high nic for a week because it was a new flavor for me I accidently got with high nic and I loved it. Bad thing. I jumped right off to no nic with no issues.
I like the nic to help with stress, stress is very very bad for the body. For me it feels like it is worse than the nic. For the enjoyment though, no nic juice is wonderful.
Anyway, I wish you luck on finding your balance and keeping it and choosing for yourself what works for you.
Blessings

I think he just likes the "thought" of vaping. Why not just use the ZERO juice, that way none of the questions you're asking would even be an issue. I know a few members have already mentioned this, but I thik thats you're best option. Plus you can use all the tasty flavors available to suite you're situation. Keep vaping. Also...when I was initially switching from smoking to exclusivly vaping, after seriously chiefing the hell out of my e-cig, I got a slight "stabbing feeling" in my chest, but a week later, That pain is merely a memory! Good Luck!!

i'm still waiting for mine in the mail but i've been reading up a bit about different liquids, most advertise medium usually from 11-18mg and from what i've heard from some vapers is you'll go through about 2ml a day if you're an average smoker (1pack a day). can someone confirm this? and depending on the dropper a drop is 1/20-1/60ml (not sure how big the droppers are that most suppliers are shipping the fluid with)
but some of the other chemicals in a tobacco cigarette interact with the nicotine (how fast it hits, how it feels when it kicks in, etc) so even if you measure the juice vs a tobacco cig and get the same nic it won't feel the same and there'll be some adjusting
i ordered a johnson creek sampler and a bottle of artic mint and plan on starting low and mixing up to no more than i'm currently smoking (about a pack a day) to cut back on the carcinogens in tobacco cigs without increasing my addition to nicotine
probably going to get some VG once it comes in the mail to cut it even lower when i'm starting out, i'm just worried it'll make it thicker and burn out the atomizer

I have to completely DISagree.
Pipe and Cigar (and snuff/snus?) smoking causes a significant increase in throat and mouth cancer. You're still putting thousands of chemicals in your mouth/tissues that contain known carcinogens and it's a bad idea.
I don't know that I agree with your assesment that "putting something in your lungs" is exactly bad, either. Studies have shown that PG is completely safe, and nicotine is not a carcinogen (won't give you cancer). If you're looking for Nicotine, it seems the safest, most efficient means is vaping.
Now, if you want to ensure you don't ever become addicted to Nicotine, then don't smoke anything, and stay away from _all_ tobacco products. If you enjoy the bump you get from Nicotine, safe ways make more sense than tobacco ways, and cheaper is better in most cases.. and with the case of vaping, can be much more enjoyable than gums, and patches would be just silly (meant to be worn for 8 hours at a time).
