Ok I will start..
First off I LOVE my Buzz but I did have a question about the top cap. If I am not careful it will start to unscrew. I have just tightened it back up but I am wondering if I am messing it up when I do that as the little turn screw is kinda off center to the upper right now.
Bag do you have some Superglue ? if so just apply a small amount to the area around the threads this will keep it from coming loose in the future
me too!
also, i dont have a multimeter, any way to get an idea of my voltage? (ie, if i turn it all the way down to 3.7 will it stop? does 1 full turn = an approx. voltage?)
no biggie per se, i just dial it to taste. i was just curious what voltage i am enjoying so much.
thanks!
SAlt you really need a volt meter to know for sure , there are NO stops on this kind of adjuster.

my turn. in order to use LR attys on the buzz its gonna depend on the batteries im using cos its gonna pull way above to amps? i thought i've seen somewhere mrBuzz not recommending the use of LR's with it.is that true?
im waiting on the 510 version to come along to place my order. how soon its gonna be? thanks!
With LR attys, the higher you crank the voltage, the higher you risk burning out the atty.
In terms of power, a LR Atty at 1.2 on a 3.7 device is 3.083 amps.
Now if you put that same LR atty on a buzz and use it at 4.5v you're looking at 3.75 amps. And at 6v, 5 amps.
Think of the LR Atty as a lightbulb that needs to stay wet in order for it to handle the amps put through it, or the bulb breaks. If you have it very wet, say 3-5 drops of liquid in there, and it's putting off huge clouds of vapor, on a 3.7v device, imagine how much more wet it would need to be in order for the bulb to be able to handle an almost 1/3 or more increase in amps.
Then again, maybe the materials on some LR Attys are strong enough to handle the extra power and won't break at the higher amps as long as they're kept wet
BTW, if I'm totally off base here, I'm sorry! lol!!
I dont recommend anything below 2.0 ohms ( NO need really ! to use a LR atty ) .
The Buzz is designed as a Variable VOLTAGE device , we have a max current we can draw and still maintain the voltage - just under 3 amps .
SO !! regular 510 attys are around 2.3 ohms so that is a good working area.
BTW I have used LR attys on the Buzz and they work just not as efficiently as a regular atty
its just that i have tons of those LR's laying around and i dont want them to just sit there. congrats on having yer own space on ecf!!
now go make me a bluebuzz510!!!
510 native connector coming soon misterD
you can use the LR attys on the Buzz just turn it down to 3.7 volts ! Hell the ones I am running right now are OLD crappy ones I am running at 4.5 so
LOL so glad to hear I am not voiding the warranty with my LR vaping on the Buzz...
