Set your meter on the 20v setting, touch the red lead to the top cap screw and the black lead to the top or bottom cap, then push the fire button.

I understanf if you aren't comfortable opening it up, I'm thinking that the wire may be loose causing intermittent firing. Check and see if the top cap outer screw is tight. It needs to ne snug but not super tight.

If it's firing and you are happily vaping then I would say that it is just a bad led. Common? No but I have heard of it a few times. You do have a warranty and can send it in to get it fixed, but I would see what Mike says. If you are having intermittent firing issues too, then there is a problem somewhere.

You'll fill out an RMA form from the Notcigs site and print it out to send in with it...yes you'll pay shipping to Mike, but not from him back to you. Pleasure to try and help, I'm sorry you're having trouble.

Sounds like an LED has a bad solder joint , it is only an indicator and does not effect performance , up to you as to getting it fixed

Buzzkill, I'll just keep using it for a few days cause it is hittin well right now,and see how it goes but if something goes funky or decide to get blue led fixed is it alright to send back for repairs then?Is the warranty for 6 months? Thanks,Dale
