The snow stopped, I think. We only got a dusting here.
Snowing here. Got at least 2 inches. Yippee
I know, Fran. I can't wait for Spring, either. My dad is scheduled to come home, from the stroke rehab center on next Friday. They are calling for snow showers Thursday and Friday. I hope the weather people are wrong about that.
Fingers crossed for ya,Jerry. How's your Dad doing?
Thanks, Fran. He had a mini stroke two weeks ago. He's doing well and they expect a full recovery, but it's going to take a while. He has always bounced back from health problems, but he's 92, so I don't know how much longer he will be able to bounce back.
Jerry, you are very lucky to have your Dad. I hope he's around for you a good stretch longer.
I know it, Fran. He's one of the good guys, always there to help the family, never selfish. That's why I'm still here. He was there for me, when I needed help and I told him that I will always be there for him, for as long as he needs me.
That's very sweet,Jerry.
Jerry, I hope for a speedy recovery for your dad. I know how you feel about the loyalty to him, especially because he was always there for you. Even tho Katie will soon be my ex mother in law, she's been like a second mother to me. I'll have some difficult choices to make in the next year or so, but for now I'll continue seeing that she has whatever she needs
If today I can touch someone's life with kindness, my day has been a success.
