Does anyone know why the blue & white Powerizer batteries are no longer offered on the NotCigs web page?

It is an offshoot of the problems with other (not notcigs) pv earlier in the year.
The powerizers do great in a buzz pro, excellent performers, but that device has really good pv-level protections. They should not be used in a generic, less well designed, device. Removing them from sale is a proactive step, so users won't have the chance to accidentally put then in pv they shouldn't be used in.
I'm totally comfortable with them in my buzz pro, best real mAh in a 16340 right now, but the black trustfires also test really well.

I never hesitated to use powerizers in my Buzz Pro. I think the main reason to phaze them out, is that there is no way to keep people from using them in non protected mods. Better safe than sorry. a coworker has the BPII and is very satisfied with the new trustfire batteries that his BPII came with.
IPro #382 with M1A1 tank
They nailed it ! Liability on us after more battery issues was the reason , they are sold at Batteryspace on the web
I'm kind of happy with this decision to switch to protected batteries. My Buzz Pro was starting to putter out and act a little wonky last night, so I thought it was time for a charge. As usual I put the Powerizer batts on my multimeter to see just how much voltage was left. One was 3.3V, the other... 2.6. Hmm, that's not right; usually they remain about equal. Maybe one of them didn't get a full charge the last time, or maybe it is dying? Not wanting to take any chances, I am ordering new batts from you as I type this.

You can get them here PowerIzer Li-Ion RCR123A 3.6V Battery, RCR123A36
It takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.
It's not unusual for one of your batts (any brand) to read a little lower than the other in a stacked batt configuration, and 2.6 is not dangerously lowThat said, I think you'll be plenty happy with the protected trustfires that we are selling now.
Well, I rule 4E'd it (from your site: "4. DO NOT USE a Li-ion battery when... E. you think something is not right with it"). Given that I've been using them since December, and never saw a voltage difference bigger than 0.1V between the two, I thought better safe than sorry!
Well yuo gotta do what you feel safe with. I been using black/flame trustfires forever because I like the MAH better. I've been vaping a Buzz of one kind or another since the first part of 2010.

I agree...better safe than sorry! I don't usually have much of a difference in my discharged voltage either, but I only have 1 set of the Powerizers. I'm still using the grey jacket Ultrafires, 2 sets of them are 1.5 years old![]()
