Hi everyone, I used to study the tarot. I haven't in a very long time, so long that I can't even remember which deck. Seems to me it was based more on Greek mythology. Once in a while I go on line and get a reading. Currently I am reading James Van Praagh. So, I am learning alot about the spirit world. I also read a short book (can't remember the exact title) about the trial and crucifiction of Jesus. So much of this is intertwined. I never really realized it. My step father was a strict Catholic, not that there is anything wrong with that, but he flipped when he found out I was learning the tarot. Needless to say, he had my mother convinced that if I didn't stop, I would go directly to hell (without collecting $200 lol). So, to keep her calm and off my back, I quit. So, I look forward to relearning. I find it very interesting. Thank you Kate for starting this. |

Hi, welcome to the story, join in anytime you like ![]() According to the High Priestess we need to find keys and read a book if we want to enter the temple (the Hall of Wisdom). I don't know if we can do that but it might be good to gather ideas about what we can learn from The High Priestess before we go any further. |

I have not touch my tarot deck in a long time. It is about 30 years old (how long I have had it). I will see if I can get two or three to copy and post here. Any favorites? I am not Wiccian, but I belive in some of their concepts. I truly believe that what you send forth is what you receive back.

I may not know what I'm talking about, but didn't we skip card I-The Magician? If I were an expert at navigating on here, I would post it. Sorry.
