i vape because smoking is just so 20th century.
Just so people are aware, the problems I'm hearing over and over are with the aluminum threads on the connector. I'm told they are weak and wear down very quickly.
So it would be good to put on an adapter and just leave it on?Wouldnt that work?
Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
Theoretically that should work, but someone said that's what they did and were still having thread wear issues. I dunno.
I just wanted a 801 native connector and love 801's at 6V, so I thought this would be perfect. 801's last me a long time and I have never killed one. I've only tossed them to the side when performance dropped.

That was the first thing I mentioned to my hubs when it came in yesterday. I ordered my connector from madvapes and I'm thinking the connector will be a heavier metal than the mod (maybe). I can see thread issues if you give it a lot of wear. The cap is replaceable for 5.99. This would be a kickin mod if it was a heavier metal or heavier aluminum, but ya prob wouldn't get it for 19.99 :-)
That's my plan.
I was going to try to post in swaps for batteries but I am really confused about what batts I would need for this. I have a trustfire multi charger. So am I correct in saying I need Tenergy 16340/900mah for it? Also what is the difference between that battery and cr123a 3v?
Sorry guys I suddenly feel like a newb again lol
I cant find the deal. Can anyone clue me in on this PLEASE?
