Mine works just great. Keep in mind that the passthrough runs off 1000mah which is the same as 1 amp. so if your using less than this for a USB wall adapter that may be why it's weak. The Ipod USB wall adapter charger is 1AMP. and does the job great!

I bought mine from eastmall as well. It worked well for about 2 months then stopped working completely. I ordered a new battery from dealextreme so we'll see if that was the problem. The batteries are like 4 bucks for 2 at dx.

I'm new to this. Just got my joye 510 today and I'm charging right now. How long do I have to charge the battery in the USB passthru? 8 hours? The instructions that came with my joye 510 said to charge the battery on PCC for 8 hours, use for 20 minutes and then recharge for 1 hour. Is it the same with the USB passthru battery?

I just got my USB PT yesterday...
I plugged it in, and began vaping right away...
    it charged while I vaped...

In RE: to the 8hour charge, I don't think that is necessary, especially with the PCC... once it gets to the charge limit, it will cut off...

Although, the 20 minute break-in time might be a good idea... Expect to see diminished performance after a week, though...
My batts started acting funny after a week where I had to hit the trigger a 3-9 times (post-charging) BEFORE the LED turned on...
but after a few days of use and recharge, they started working normally again (albeit with dimished Voltage capacity)... but that is normal with ANY re-chargeable battery...
    so don't panic...

I have several, from TW, e-smokeytreats.com, and vtvapor. I'm only using 2 now, one for home computer and one for work. Perhaps now they have changed the design from what they were in June. They all use an ICR10440 3.7 V battery in an inline batt box.

They are excellent. All I have tried work great, although after several hours of heavy use they seem to need recharging. Seems the charging does not keep up with my vaping perfectly, but we are talking about 9 hours of use. Just leaving them in the running computer recharges them back to full.

The batt in them is 360 mAh, so you can unplug them and carry the PT around and vape for a few hours anyway.

If there is a sale on them I may get another to try cutting out the box, rejoining the wires, and see if I can 5V vape directly from the USB. Although since I upgraded my cart filler to disposable facial sponge, there is no need at this point for more voltage...or dripping for that matter. But that's a topic for another thread.

got mine from cignot. been using daily at work and in car for about a month. no performance probs, however, the wires got frayed at the spot where they meet the button thingy. fixed with some minor soldering and shrink tubing.

I even purchased a wall & a car/lighter adaptor so I don't have to use it on my computer.
I'm powering mine with an old, crappy, powered USB hub - with blinky LEDs for added tackiness.

Mine works fine but I hardly use it.
