24 mg would be somewhere around 24 real cigs (per ml used) if you had moderately strong cigs; and around 30 of the most-sold cigs (which stand for 0.8 mg per cig). So if you use 2 ml of that, that would make it worth 48 resp. 60 cigs that you are smoking.
If you would go back to say 16 mg, your cig-equation would be around 16 cigs (per ml!) as to stronger cigs; and around 20 real cigs worth (16/0.8) with 0.8 mg in them (the 'usually sold'). Multiply by two for 2 ml used, so 32 to 40 cigs worth if you would be using 16 mg instead of 24.
Hope that helps you a bit here![]()
This is a rough guide to Cigarettes and their Liquid equivalent.
I have not seen any real proof of how much Nicotine your body is actually getting from 1ml of liquid vaped or how much is wasted.
Liquid conversion Table.
1ml 11 mg Liquid Juice = 11mg Nicotine
1ml 14 mg Juice = 14mg Nicotine
1ml 18 mg Juice = 18 mg Nicotine
1ml 24 mg Juice = 24 mg Nicotine
1ml 36 mg Juice = 36 mg Nicotine
20 Cigarettes 0.9mg nic = 18 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 18 mg Juice or 2 ml of 9 mg juice
20 Cigarettes 0.8mg nic = 16 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 16 mg Juice or 2 ml of 8 mg juice
20 Cigarettes 0.7mg nic = 14 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 14 mg Juice or 2 ml of 7 mg juice
20 Cigarettes 0.6mg nic = 12 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 12 mg Juice or 2 ml of 6 mg juice
20 Cigarettes 0.5mg nic = 10 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 10 mg Juice or 2 ml of 5 mg juice
30 Cigarettes 0.9 mg nic = 27 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 27 mg Juice or 2 ml of 13.5 mg juice
30 Cigarettes 0.8 mg nic = 24 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 24 mg Juice or 2 ml of 12 mg juice
30 Cigarettes 0.7 mg nic = 21 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 21 mg Juice or 2 ml of 10.5 mg juice
30 Cigarettes 0.6 mg nic = 18 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 18 mg Juice or 2 ml of 9 mg juice
30 Cigarettes 0.5mg nic = 15 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 15 mg Juice or 2 ml of 7.5 mg juice
40 Cigarettes 0.9mg nic = 36 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 36 mg Juice or 2 ml of 18 mg juice
40 Cigarettes 0.8mg nic = 32 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 32 mg Juice or 2 ml of 16 mg juice
40 Cigarettes 0.7mg nic = 28 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 28 mg Juice or 2 ml of 14 mg juice
40 Cigarettes 0.6 mg nic = 24 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 24 mg Juice or 2 ml of 12 mg juice
40 Cigarettes 0.5mg nic = 21 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 21 mg Juice or 2 ml of 10.5 mg juice

That's a great breakdown Keef. Just in case anyone gets confused I think I should mention that you've put an extra zero after the point in the cigarette nic measures (eg. it would be 0.9mg rather than 0.09).
I have been in touch with a Dr who is researching blood nicotine levels from vaping and am hoping to be able to share some test results about absorption rates soon.
Thank you all very much. I was over doing it. I will need a lower level juice.
How can I reduce the nicotine level of my 24mg juice?
Thank you kate![]()
No problem Keef, that's a good reference post
Here you are bschade1 - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...-recepies.html
Thank you again.
I started vaping at 25mg which was way too high for me. After getting headaches, I went down to 18 PDQ.
