Default Are you vaping for longer, and more often, than when you smoked analogues?

I ask this question because I'm concerned if we are getting enough or too much nicotine.

I'm finding myself smoking / vaping for longer in duration and frequency than I would have on a cigarette.

So lets create a combined duration and frequency term, and call it a session.

Is your current sessions more or less now your vaping than with analogues?

A lot of the posts on this forum refer to "constantly vaping," Or, "I cant put it down" ETC.

If this is the case, then why not just increase the Nic level of your liquid and go back to the same "Sessions" that you previously did?' If you want the reverse, when you smoked analogues why didn't you decrease the nic level and smoke more often?

If the answer is "Because I enjoy it more" then I believe we are not doing the right thing?

I cant answer the question of increasing the nic level of my vapour because I'm a noob and haven't got that far in this experiment yet.

Would really like to hear some long replies and not the simple one liners.

    Thanks,

    MT

I haven't been doing this very long either. However, I have come to realize that I need to increase my nic level.
I smoked @ 2 packs a day of Marlboro Lights. Thinking that a "middle ground" would be a good place to start, I began vaping with 18mg liquid. It's enough to keep from smoking analogs, but I want to almost constantly vape... chasing satisfaction.
I had a small sample bottle of 24 mgs and realized, only in hindsight, that I vaped less often when using it.
That said... I guess I should order some 24mg stuff!

I did answer "yes" to this, with a caveat. I've only been at this for less than 24 hours. Also, I find that I am dragging off the 510 less often than I did off of a cigarette, so I may only take 3 or 4 drags of vapor for the 10 to 15 I would get off of a cigarette. However, much of my smoking habit was dictated by environmental restrictions. My lovely better half is a non-smoker and, out of respect for her, I have not smoked in the house for the last 5 years. With vaping, the smell does not bother her, so it's not an issue for me to take a drag inside. I run into the same thing at work. I can take a stealth drag and nobody is the wiser.

Am I doing the wrong thing? I don't know. As I said, it's still new to me and I may end up slowing back down. I certainly do not want to replace one habit with the other, but if that is what happens, I won't be heartbroken. I am still saving money and, while I do believe nobody can state with any sort of authority whether there are health issues or not regarding vaping, I find it very difficult to believe that vaping carries the same level of health risk that smoking does.

That's just my $0.02 at this point, and you may not even get that much value out of it.

Sorry for the one liner. I'd delete my post if I could.

I vape like a fiend, all the time. I dropped my nic level down to 9mg, though.

I enjoy vaping, but I'm still weaning myself off of the nicotine.

Sorry about that. I shouldn't have posted a short response like that. I guess Im not really worried about my nicotine intake. I know what too much feels like for sure, and for me thats when it makes me feel sick. If I sit around and vape for an hour straight, it makes me feel sick.

I think i am vaping about the same amount of time as i smoked analogs. But i really notice when i crave the nicotine, then i power vape until the craving passes.I just started 4 days ago and have not touched an analog since. I have only used 12mg and 16mg. so far but i have some 24mg on the way, hopefully that will help the rough times.

All depending on the brand of the analogs and what paper and ingredients they used in it I found that one regular cigarette is anywheres about 10-13 drags, so you figure that's about 1 cigs worth!
