Ok, I'm back to dripping now. lol.. like most other mods, it works great to start out with, then loses it's effectiveness. Refilling is no fun. Dripping is still the most consistent and convenient for me I guess.
I gave it a try!

I hear you, I'm interested in the best mod for these carts for driving purposes, so I'll give this a try and look forward to other details on the other mods; especially the blue foam. I'll still dip at home though.

I have nothing to contribute since I haven't tried any mods yet but I'm curious to see the comments in this thread because I'm really not impressed with the cart performance on the m702 which from what I understand has the same carts as the 401.
I use the Foam plug with great results. It takes a little tweaking to get the fit just right, but now I can vape all day on one cart. Strong flavor/vapor the whole time till the thing is bone dry all of a sudden. I'll get maybe 5-10 hits that start to taste a little weak before the thing practically shuts off.
I'm just waiting for the XL cart to be in stock at LiteCig. .4 or .5ml of juice, depending on which of the two available XL carts he'll carry.
I chain vape, so dipping and using a mouthpiece, gets to be a PIA. I also found out that the juice lasts longer if I rotate in unused carts on a regular basis.![]()
I don't know whether it's the beat up polyfil (even though I do clean it and replace it,) or the ends of the flavor cart getting ragged from melting, that causes the juice loss.
Zorba, can you give specifics on size, etc. of the blue foam plug? Yes Valkerie, the XL carts look nice.

ummm, hmmm. Well not sure if I have a caliper around here.... I cut them about 40%-50% deep in the cart. And as for width, I'd guess about 1mm bigger in diameter, if that. Just enough so you have to kind of stuff it in, not just slide it in. I usually kind of roll it between my fingers to get it small then it goes in nice and easy then expands. Like putting in earplugs. I can get an easy 10 drops in, then 1 more on top without having to sop it with a towel before reassembly.
did anyone try the straw mod yet? im curious about it.
Sorry to go OT here, but I liked the idea of the spring cart mod...but then I started thinking, so this metal spring in sitting in liquid. Liquid causes rust. Is this not an issue for anyone? I thought, how bout a plastic type spring. But those types usually have some type of paint on them, or at least colored...again, this concerns me. Anyone else?

Zorba, so you're using a piece that fills about half the inner cart? Do you double it or use a single piece?
Haven't tried the straw mod yet, seems like the small inner carts would be a pain w/ this but it's worth a try.
I think the rusty spring topic has been brought up in the mod section. Seems like a valid concern. I'm using this mod now; I'll keep an eye on the spring.
