I have not seen this polled yet and thought it would be neat to do to see what the majority of us here are using. I could only use a maximum of 15 options, so I had to narrow down my original list to that.
The question is what type of hardware do you use the most. If you use one type for 20 ml a week and another type for 10 ml a week please enter the first one. If you use two options about the same amount of juice per week enter both. Let's keep it to two maximum per person.
510 batteries are smaller than eGo type batteries, can be auto or manual and max out at about 300 mAh. These are the ones you don't want to use eGo chargers on.
eGo type are anything advertised with the name 'eGo' and also the ones like the Kgo and Spinner. It does not matter if they are pass through or not. I think they start at around 350 mAh and go up to around 1300. I don't think you can get these in auto.
Regulated mods are anything that has voltage control and is not an eGo, a 510, or a mechanical. If it has VV, VW, the choice of a few voltages, or always outputs the same voltage no matter what the battery charge is (typically between 3.4 - 3.8 volts) it is regulated. These include the Zmax, Vmax, MVP, Provari and DNA-20/30 devices to name just a few.
Mechanical mods are any that do not have power regulation in them. Along with the usual fully mechanical mods like the Nemesis and the K100, in this case the Provape 1 and the Bolt are also considered mechanical, even though the Provape has safety circuitry and the Bolt has wire in it.
Those of you with bottom feeders, I would have liked to break that category up for different toppers, but I had 15 options to work with so it is what it is.
Let me know if I have made any mistakes or missed something. I will be able to edit this post for a while to make changes and/or corrections, but sooner will be better than later.
Finally, please keep posts on topic about what hardware you are using, not why you like that hardware. There are a whole lot of threads on ECF about why one mod or type of mod is better than another and I think most of us know how quickly that can become heated and get out of hand.
