since oct. 2009 no smokes!!! couldn't be happier![]()
I've completely quit analogs with e-cigs
I've cut down on analogs use with e-cigs
I only use e-cigs where I can't use analogs
I dont know if it matters but I thought it was worth a mention, I had NO intention of quitting at ALL - I just prefer this and quitting analogs was sort of an unexpected side effect. I didnt buy this as a quitting device in ANY way; just wanted to cut down.
Smoked for 20+ years at one pack a day (and nearer 2 packs at weekends).
I've cut back from about 2 packs a day to about a half a pack. It's been slightly under half a pack within the last few days.
But I need tacos! I need them or I will explode, That happens to me sometimes!
Am a new member and researching all the e-cig info. Do they really help you either quit or cut down from a regular cigarette (or analog)? I am a two pack a day analoger...
I bought my PV because I had used a friends on a skiing trip, and was quite impressed by it. When he first told me what it was and offered it to me I thought it was pretty lame, but one puff and my mind was changed. The thing satisfied, and I was able to exhale the vapor. I was considering buying the Chantix medication to quit, but have issues with depression and anxiety which make Chantix unsafe for me. Desperate to get off cigarettes and quit stinking, I was going to do it anyway. Instead I bought my PV, and set off on this journey. The first day I had it, I thought I would just be done smoking no problems. I loaded up my cartridge, and set out for my day with no analogs in hand. Within a few hours, I seriously FREAKED out and bought a pack and sucked down two in a row. Two weeks later, I am still vaping and have made it through six days now with no cigs. I have even cut my juice from 24 mg to 12 with VG and so far am maintaining at that level.![]()
And if you happen to need something else from tobacco, there are way better and safer ways to get it than analogs. Check out the smokeless section if you hit that wall again.
You should post in the new members section of the forum
You can make new threads there and have ALL your queries/concerns answered by old n new members alike.
The answer though is yes they really can and do help people to both cut down or quit (if quitting is what they want) - some of us 20 - 40 year smoking prisoners.
