Go outside to vape?
So do you ever go outside to vape? You remember that alone time you once had. remember the reason to leave the house and get away from the kids?
I am only posting this because right now im posting on my laptop, in 30 degree weather, In the dark, in a poor part of town, outside my work office.
and it hit me... im going to get shot doing this....
ok but seriously, Im out here sitting down listening to the train as it goes by on the tracks with an occasional horn blow and bell ring from the engine, the cars passing buy, the wind as it blows through the air. I haven't done this is a LONG while. Just sit outside and vape, well i use to do it ALOT when i sat outside and smoked. But vaping kinda made going outside pointless. But i found that i kinda missed it. Do yall go outside and just take that time out you use to do?

I like the fresh air a lot. Vaping outside is great.

I live in San Diego, which answers that question.

I totally agree with you, for me smoking had always been a time to go outside and have a break... sort of have some time for myself to collect my thoughts and relax. I try to replicate that with vaping, but the whole convenience of being able to stay inside is tempting. If you like the therapeutic "smoke breaks" like I do, try not to let them get lost in the convenience of vaping

Heck NO!
I never went outside to smoke (unless I was ALREADY outside) so I'm NOT going outside to Vape! I constantly ask my non-smoking friends/family if my house and truck smell like smoke now and they always say NO!

Great question!
Before, I always went outside to smoke at home and at work... and unless I was in an incredibly smoke friendly place, pretty much I'd always go outside to smoke.
Now, I almost never go outside to vape at home... sure sometimes I go outside and vape but not so much to vape... I live alone in the SF bay area and have a nice deck to go out on.
At work, I almost always go outside... unless its really late and no one is around then I might vape at my desk... and rarely I stealth vape if no one is nearby during regular hours.
Out and about, I generally refrain from vaping while indoors... but next time I'm in an airport I'll be making some clouds of tasty vapor to be sure

Thanks VaporMadness...I didn't even think about when I'm not at home or in my own vehicle! I don't work because I am FT college student...but I have never attempted to Vape in Class! LOL! That would be hilarious if I tried though. I wait until break and go outside near the analog smokers *stinky*
I did vape in a restuarant the other day at lunch though (Tucson is NO SMOKING IN PUBLIC BUILDINGS) and no one said anything, although I did feel a little self-concsious and kind tried to hide it. I have vaped in a couple of bars around town and had no problems, but I always ask first. Applebee's said no, but the other bars didn't care.

I'm with dg99, a 'smoke break' is an excuse to get out & away for a few moments. Plus living in the DPRoC, going outside to 'smoke' has been part of our social conditioning since the late 1980's, so it's kinda part of the ritual.
