Default Throat hit from a Joye 510 atty at 3.7V

From what I've read, many people do seem to get pretty good throat hit from the Joye 510 atomizer. I don't. I do love its vapor, but I don't waste nicotine on it anymore and use it only for my non-nicotine pacifier vaping.

Am I the only one who doesn't get TH (or at least much of it) from the 510?

To keep it on a level playing field, please focus only on the 510 atty's TH at 3.7V.

    Thanks for playing!

I believe you *are* the only one, Don. =)

With the same mod (S6 and adapted) at 3.7 with the very same liquid dripped, I get a better TH from the Joye 510 than my beloved Joye 302s. Given the electronics/math, I would expect to get a better hit with the 510, as you well know, with regard to Georg Ohm and his law. =) The vapor on the 510 is warmer on the intake also.

The 302s deliver better flavor, however. (not that you asked) LOL

I've only used the 510, 901 and carto's. To me theres isn't much difference in TH between those 3. I really only have 1 liquid that gives me a great TH and that is actually a berry flavored liquid. It's probably the alcohol content in it. I vape 18-24mg as well.

Love the TH from my 510. The Kr8 is too warm of a hit for me. The 510 gives me what I need. Not sure why it doesn't for you??? Where ya been hiding these days anyway???????

With my luck my ship will come in and I'll be at the airport.

i always wonder if i read your posts about the 801 giving you a better th than a 510.

but every one is different, for me the 801 is a smoother different aromatic vape.
i like some liquids better on the 510 and others on the 801.

th hit wise i just realize that the joye306 / minifogger seems to be at least on par with the 510, but for everyday use its a bit to tiny for me. but maybe i have just luck with this single 2.0 Ohm minifogger atomizer

He's not the only one. I got the joye 510 no box autos from cignot.com and yes I get hella vapor, better flavor, and it's smoother. But no TH on PH and VERY little TH on PH juice.

I pulled the wick off the atty and am using the PTB mod. Juice going back and forth between basic VG juice from cignot and the sampler pack from absolutelyecigs.com.

Tips? Maybe something wrong with my kit? Bah my m702 had more throat hit but half the vapor.

Something must be out to get me on my 3rd and still not quite what I desire. 1st kiosk SE paper weight 2nd m702 TH little vapor 3rd the mighty 510 no TH. Ahhh!

I'm so buzzed off the sampler PG 36MG cherry!

I've never bothered to remove the wick from my 510s. But, from what I've read and from how I understand the wicking process from cart material to atty bridge to work, once you remove the fibers under the atty bridge it will no longer wick properly. (there's nothing to wick from point A to point B)

Users who remove those fibers do so because all they do is drip anyway.

I find the TH on my 510 is about the same as I get on other attys, but it is very dependant on the juice I use.

the problem is, that there are currently too much versions out. the stock joye510 is a different beast than the smoother SLB/ECIS and others.

similar to the differences between 901 and RN4075. if i use a 901 style its definately the short bridged, hotter RN
