    I've got a few more.

Walter the Pit Bull puppy and Ghost the kitty having a nap.

    HEY?! Where'd the kitty go?

Screw the cat. More room for me.

    Pitbull smirk

(Sadly, Ghost the kitty is no longer with us. She lived to be about 18 years old though.)

I also have a skunk living under the foundation of my house.

Next week end I will no longer have a skunk living under the foundation of my house. It is very possible I will have a cement entombed skunk under the foundation of my house. My little gift for the people of the future.
May I suggest a humane trap for the skunk, rather than a horrible death by entombment? Please? If you can't do it yourself, there are companies that trap wildlife humanely and return them to the wilderness...

I am an expert on mice and humane traps. I can't tell you how many times my family and I caught little critters in those devices and then drove them to some remote wilderness where we released them with great satisfaction and a sense of having done a good deed. You just have to drive at least a couple of miles or they'll be back.

    Victor--

That pit bull is an absolute doll!!!! I just love that expressive face! My sister-in-law has a pit bull too. He's a 100 pound muscle and loves nothing more than to knock you down so he can drown you in kisses. He's just a sweet, sweet boy.

I wouldn't. I was joking. I actually really like skunks. I don't mind them under there. I can't smell them and they aren't doing any damage (our foundation sits on about 60 piers). But the little pit bull REALLY wants to play with "the stinky kitty" again. That I could smell.

I managed to evict them the night I posted that by placing rags soaked in ammonia in their little den under the house. I peaked in with a flash light to ensure no one was home then stuffed the rags in.

I placed a few rocks over the hole. They came back later and pushed a few rocks aside, but didn't stick around. The rocks haven't been moved since.

I guess ammonia is too stinky even for a skunk. heh heh.

Thanks. He's a real clown. He is my first actual pit bull. He and his sister were rescued from a backyard breeder who was about to cut their ears off. The rescue group got them out just in time.

I'm sold on pits. They are great dogs. They're a little high energy sometimes so you have to stay on top of them but they are really smart animals. I don't think I'll ever get another type of dog after this... and I don't even really like dogs. I'm more of a cat person. heh heh.

I love your little zoo, BTW.

Edit: I see the word has been "dotted" out. That's what we call them around here.

He is adorable! I have a pit bull/black lab mix, and she is the sweetest dog! Pit bulls have an undeserved reputation as the bad boys, when they are not! But if they wind up in the wrong hands, it's terrible. BTW, KUDOS to the rescue group!! I wish there were more of them!!
