Default Titanium pen style

I really like that style/color.

Still prefer the NJoy style a little better than Janty though.

Doesn't really matter though... already spent too much too soon on this stuff for now.

What I like though is it would appear that it is much more resistant to chips and scratches, unlike my black ones.

I think it would be GREAT if other mfg's started offering this style/color.

BTW marker for post 100

I'm not sure if it's more scratch resistant. I don't think it's real titanium, just a titanium paint.

Was hoping it was like polished stainless steel or aluminum. Some basically unpainted surface.

Even like (I think they call it) a brushed or unfinished surface kind of like some nice ink pens.

Gunny,

Actually the paint on the white models isn't that hard to get off, it's more like a plastic film layer than a paint. I've taken it off one of my older DSE901's and even got a bit creative with a burnishing head in a dremel, swirls and alsorts on it now, I think it looks very cool, others will probably disagree of course.

I like the metal look, it's a man thing I guess, I'd even like to blue one sometime as well, now that would look cool ... If your ex military as I suspect you are given your nick, you know what I mean about blueing ?

MNZ,

Good guess, that's even what they call me at work.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The bluing would be another sweet effect. You might be able to achieve it or similar effect by subjecting it (clean, no paint) to a NG, LP or some other clean flame.

I used a dremel 462 Rubber Polishing Cone Point and some polishing compound, brought it up a treat, and as I said got a bit creative with the swirls and whirls. Looks a bit like smoke barrelling down it now. It's nice to hold as well, has a very tactile feel to it.

I bloody knew someone was going to ask for a photo !

I only run with old fashioned film cameras I'm afraid, so getting a pic on here is going to be a mission

Was going to ask as well, but thought if you liked it so well and had not posted a pic, you probably were unable to do so.

Really would like to see it though.
