Tweaking the nicotine
I believe E-cigs would be perfect if the nicotine in it was made so it felt just like a real cigarette. I hope the E-cig companies are looking into this - whether the solution lies in "free-basing" the nicotine or changing the pH, I don't know.

A representative from Ruyan emailed me that a large part of the problem with making ecigs more like analogs is that ecigs lack MAOIs. Do you understand this theory?

Say what?
I really get the same experience. Only instead of 3 cigarettes in a row to get my head swimming, I just vape for a while.
What is the difference you feel?

Hi all, I`m pretty new here. I just wanted to add my two cents to this thread lol. I bought ejuice form Johnson Creek with no nicotine. I`d rather try to get unaddicted. I use an Njoy pen style e cig. I also just watched the video on using tea bags. It really works. I`m using one now . Yippie!!!

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are a class of powerful antidepressant drugs prescribed for the treatment of depression. They are particularly effective in treating atypical depression, and have also shown efficacy in helping smokers to quit.
Due to potentially lethal dietary and drug interactions, MAOIs had been reserved as a last line of defense, used only when other classes of antidepressant drugs (for example selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants) have been tried unsuccessfully. Recently, however, a patch form of the drug selegiline, called Emsam, was developed. It was approved for use by the FDA on February 28, 2006. When applied transdermally the drug does not enter the gastro-intestinal system as it does when taken orally, thereby decreasing the dangers of dietary interactions associated with MAOI pills.
