    Default The Dreaded LED

I know it's kind of a silly request, but I like the LED's.

I like the design of the stock batteries. I like the way the battery lights up at the tip, and slowly fades out when you've finished drawing on it.

I know our current batteries are unreliable and expensive. And I'm telling you, if someone makes a Prodigy/Screwdriver/whatever rechargeable battery casing with an LED on the tip like my current e-cig batteries, that would be the tipping point for me to buy one.

It's a silly thing, and very much style over substance, but I don't think I'm the only one who feels that way.

I hate the LED's... The LAST thing an e-smoker needs on his device in 2009 is a BRIGHT flashlight on the end of his device. I mean come on, we are trying to attract less attention not more at this point in time... Why do we need the flashlight tip?!

Some could look at it as stupid, but on the other side of the coin some could see it as something that looks very similar to an analog so they aren't self conscious...further more, my 510 has a blue tip so if I'm in a public building where smoking is prohibited it's a dead giveaway that it's not a real cigarette.

Been wondering, are there suppliers that sell M201 batteries that have blue or other color LEDS (besides orange)?

Wait, why are we trying to attract less attention? They're not illegal, and the more people get used to them and start to understand them, the less problems we'll have. I'm gonna put one of those rotating, multi-colored dance lights people get for their bedrooms... if I can find one small enough.

I like the LED's. I have a blue and a purple coming from IV. I really hope they start getting in the new green ones that have been popping up online.

LEDs at the tip are more analogous to err... analogs.

You draw, the tip glows. That's part of the enjoyment as far as I'm concerned. No need for flashlights but a soft, warm glow is nice.

The LED on my pass through MOD is useful. Placed for my view. If it's lit and I get no heat, then the atty is suspect, if it doesn't light then the USB battery is suspect. I have a subdued yellow LED that you don't know is even there unless it's lit and you look right at it.

For a standard e-cig I would just as soon not have it, since it's meant for others to see and some are difficult for the user to see at all.
