    Default Improving safety--cooperating with FDA

Well I'm going to assume that the price of analogs will keep skyrocketing. So the design of the ecig could handle quite of bit of regulation and increased manufacturing costs to improve safety, and still compete cost-wise with analogs. My suggestions include:

    1) Strict regulation of juice formulas, of course.

    2) All ecigs designed so atty and cartridge are a single sealed unit. Juice always preloaded. Illegal to sell juice separately. Experienced uses would bypass the restrictions. But these folks would have enough experience to know what they are doing.

    3) Reduce leakage out of the battery end of the atty.

    4) Provide a much better way of keeping juice from leaking into the mouth.

    5) Provide some sort of calculation of recommended starting nicotine concentration based on a person's weight, history of smoking, etc.

    6) More comprehensive instructions included with every ecig. Including guidelines for ramping up to regular use.

    Flame away

Regulation? Why? QC is a different story. JC / Dekang have taken major steps already.

Why? Will get too expensive and accomplish nothing in terms of safety.

    3) Reduce leakage out of the battery end of the atty.

Clear instructions/guides included with the product will prevent "inexperienced" mistakes. And if someone is unable to follow them, well...

    4) Provide a much better way of keeping juice from leaking into the mouth.

    See above...

    5) Provide some sort of calculation of recommended starting nicotine concentration based on a person's weight, history of smoking, etc.

Much like alcohol, there is no clear-cut formula based on weight/history. Everyone is different. General recommendations / best practice however would be welcomed.

    6) More comprehensive instructions included with every ecig. Including guidelines for ramping up to regular use.

    Yes, yes and yes.

What we need is suppliers to start stating ingredients on the side of bottles, I don't want the government anywhere near my juice BUT Even my box of Cheerios has a list of ingredients....

Really if we had a couple suppliers step up and say They stand 100% behind EVERY ingredient in there juice...alot of sales would go their way

...and don't forget about Totally Wicked and Intellicig ECOpure who both list ingredients and have publised the lab reports they had done to verify the contents?

As of yesterday, 7/23/09, I officially became evil and dangerous. People used to think my vaping was just weird

Let's see...no compromise by the other side leads to what, exactly?
