Default Low bridge 801's

I just want my low/short bridge 801 attys back! I hate these new high bridge. They don't wick well. I could vape my old 801's all day without having to deal much with topping off / dripping. The high bridges just don't allow it wick well for some reason. Please bring back the short bridges! Thanks

Posted this on your other thread too but I like the short bridged Joye 302s that are available from myvaporstore for $9.25. They are basically a Kissbox atomizer at half-price. I would recommend getting the 302 specific hard-tipped carts as well. Oh, and don't get them confused with his 801s, those are high bridged. Haven't seen anyone else that carries these.

The high bridges do two things to inhibit vapor.

1. There is minimal contact with the stuffing. It is a point vs the broad paddle of the low bridges.

2. The high bridge pushes the stuffing back into the cartridge, compressing it and making it more difficult to wick.

I suppose these drawbacks could be minimized somewhat if we "hollowed out' the stuffing. This would avoid compression and, if properly done, increase the contact area between the stuffing and the wick. Although it would mean removing some material and decreasing the holding capacity a little.

thats why we used teabag filler, it drapes over the two "high" sides plus touches the peak of the bridge and gives plenty of contact and wicking. I gave up on stock filler material a long time ago...shrink problem

Janty now offers its Kissbox atomizer in the TAWA version ("Throw AWay Atomizer") for $8.95 . . . same KB atomizer only without the Janty warranty.

I got a 5-pack of 801 attys from TW recently and they are the low bridge type. I discovered this when I found out that they wouldn't vape - all my carts are the high bridge kind. Right now I'm using them with the cartridge filler pulled out a quarter-inch. I'll use them, but I won't reorder them.

That said, I'm also using a Prodigy at 5-volts. It has higher flow requirements for the juice than a standard battery, and I like to vape up a cloud and keep the atty WET.

Call me crazy but I have a few of the TAWAs already and they just aren't up to par for whatever reason. Half of them are dead now too. Maybe it's psychological but I swear they don't hit as well as the warranty Kissbox nor the 302. Also, shipping is one thing that I hate to pay for and MVS offers free over $65. Don't get me wrong, I do love Janty, Ethan and Jeff have always helped me out when I needed them.
