my cheapo usb penstyle works good on my pc

but on my 4 x AAbattery box - rechargeables 2500mah
and wall usb outlet plug - output 1A.
both of these will not work with my good
easy draw 4 hole atomizers -- but .......
if I use a real tight 2 hole atomizer they both work.
go figure ........try it....

I am hanging out for my new stuff from David ....

So yours didn't work even with the rechargeables? See....I don't see any holes on my atomizer. Where the heck are they? I keep hearing people talk about 2 holes...4 holes...and I see none! So if I can figure out where my holes are maybe I can get the thing to work with all these adapters I have!

I'm glad it worked for you Di....and I'm waiting for my new usb pen from David too. Waiting sure is a killer!

check your adapters,there must be the output printed somewhere.
a typical USB port provide 500mah max.

my car usb adapter says this: max 500mA
my wall usb adapter says DC 500mA +/- 50mA, and they don't work just like Di's didn't. But she was lucky to find a way that they did end up working. I need to figure that out too!

BTW....I should be getting my usb cigar today. Will see if that makes any difference.

Hi usb users
I am talking about a 801 usb battery.

on my previous post
I said that the usb did not work
on my battery pack and my usb wall plug.

Let me clarify,
well, with my 4 hole atomizer,
it didnt work real good,
just a wisp of vapour,
and the red light on the wall plug blinked as I puffed, but no good vapour, just a wisp.

But with a tighter drawing 2 hole atomizer
the difference is quite startling,
battery pack - good vapour,
and on the wall plug adapter,
the light does not blink, remains constant
and again, - good vapour.

I conclude that my 4 hole atomizers are too loose drawing for these power sources,
but the tighter 2 hole one works good.

So you might need to find an atomizer that works with your device.
I have been using these usb's for 4 days now,
I have not changed a battery,
I have the usb on the 'puter, for all day use,
and the wall plug behind my easy chair for usb use when I am relaxing, watching James Bond, or sci-fi.

where it screws onto the battery --
you see a hole in the middle,
around the edge just inside the metal rim,
you should see the holes, 2 or 4 .....

Di, I tried using flashlight..but think I need magnifying glasses!!
don't see any holes..I'm supposed to have 4-hole from puresmoker..and I only see one smudge so far..if that's indeed a hole..
are the holes in the metal before the threads start or at the bottom?

Misty ... different manufacturers.

DSE801 holes are very large and very pronounced. RN 4 holes actually come standard with 2 (Actually 1, and they count the 2nd as the battery feed hole), and the other 2 are actually under the lip of the brass fitting. DSE801 holes are easily 2-3 times the size of RN's. RN holes are slits ... not really holes per say ...

OMG....I'm going blind trying to find these holes!

Guess they must be the RN ones then.

I heard others say they covered their holes and I was like "what holes?"

Now I see...well I really don't see them, per se...but I do see what you mean.
