Wish I were handier, or I'd be announcing this instead of just suggesting this accessory for a pen-type PV.

How about an slip-on actual (albeit short-barreled) ball-point pen attachment? That way, the self conscious among us could truthfully say their 510 was their pen. Moreover, if it had some sort of sleeve long enough to fit loosely over the cartridge-to-atty, it would provide a safeguard against leakage. I wouldn't get so fancy as to suggest it be a retractable pen; just one with a cap over it.

Sounds cool. But why try to hide the fact that it's an e-cigarette, are you experiencing problems by using yours around other people? Although I'm also rather self-conscious about using them in public, my neighbors, family and good friends all think it's a great way to quit smoking.

Among those I work with, I'm pretty reserved about all aspects of my personal life and habits, perhaps especially smoking and not smoking. Not secretive, just reserved.

But back to the pen idea...

a person can buy metal ink pens from the Dollar Store.

Just to see, I stuck the cap from a marker on my 510, fits pretty well, I reckon you could glue it on there. I might do that just for fun, take it to work, use it in a meeting, heh.
